Topic: What System Should I Ask for Christmas or Aim to Buy? DSi XL, 3DS, or PS3 Slim?

If 3DS doen't click on you, I think a PS3 should be good.

PS3 is the best bet for Christmas. 3DS won't be in America until next year at the earliest and then the DSiXL price will drop when that happens.

I suggest buying the ps3 slim but don't trade your lite in for it. (well get it for Christmas)
The dsxl super stretches your game and makes it look like well a monkey took a dump on the card.(jrpgs look awful)
With the price of the 3ds not out yet and the strong belief it won't be out until march '11 I'll suggest waiting and saving money.
When it comes out trade in your ds lite and maybe a game or two and if you get tired of any ps3 games trade 'em in.
Since you won't have to pay for your ps3 you have plenty of time to save, Since it's summer I suggest helping out elderly neighbours (get shopping,walk their dog- If you act nice they'll give you some cash and and ask you to help them again.)

ps3 is kool but (imo) not as much variety in games mostly shooters
its god of wars and infamous for some good games but .....still mostly shooter, not that its bad but....variety is needed

Alright guys, I have made my decision.

I am going to lay off of the PS3 Slim for awhile, since I am not old enough to play any of its great titles.

I will instead be getting the 3DS, as it is suited for what I am allowed to play.

Once I am 16 or so, I will then ask for or get an Xbox 360 Slim (or 250 GB), since then I can play titles like Fallout: New Vegas, Halo 3 and ODST, and other titles as well.

This is my decision, so now this topic should be locked I presume?

PS3 until the kinks have been found or corrected in the 3DS. I would say get an xbox maybe as well but...nnaaaaaah i don't have one, so you shouldnt . Seriously though, you have tons of time to think about it and you'll probably choose what you start wanting most anyway...our input won't really matter down the line.

Get the PS3 slim. I got one and it's great fun. You get all the amazing Sony exclusives ( Unchartered 2, Metal Gear, Heavy Rain, God of War) plus nearly all the best games that come out on the 360 as well (red dead, just cause 2, gta, mw2 etc.) plus if the games are more than like 6 months old they get cheap fast so when you buy your PS3 you can get quite a few games immediately that will blow your socks off! Plus the online us great with built in wifi and it's free to play all games online.

Edit: Sorry I didn't realise you were only twelve. So ignore all the games I just mentioned and stick with Nintendo for a few more years, OK?
