In this thread, we discuss systems that we think is the most underrated system.
Personally, my vote would have to go to the Wii. The system has received little to no respect in some of the sites I've been on and this is one of the few sites that actually respect the Wii and I love discussing things with you guys about it.
I think the most under-rated system would have to be the N64.. Just because it seems that during the time of the N64, Nintendo was going through its, awkward, teen-age, years.....
Dreamcast, it killed Sega even if it had alot of great games on it. I liked mine and sucked to see it ultimately fail.
There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
Definitely N64. As a little tike I remember going, "N64 is the best console EVER!" and firmly believed that for several years. It was my childhood, and apparently it sucked.

It didn't suck. You could have had the Playstation

I must have lived under a rock or something because where I'm from everyone loved the N64. Sure there was a gap between N64/Playstation just like Sega/Nintendo, but they were both amazing. The Gamecube is definitely the most under-rated Nintendo console. There was no love for that console, and now that the Wii is out and EVERYONE loves the Wii (I don't know what you people who think it's under-rated are talking about) Gamecube and its games get a little attention but, not as "Gamecube games", as "Wii compatible" games

When you put it that way, I guess the Gamecube was under-rated. Sure it didn't have strong 3rd party support, but it had some of the best Nintendo games, such as Paper Mario TYD, Wind Waker, Fire Emblem PoR, and others

Seriously, I've only ever really played Nintendo, so it's the Gamecube for me as well. There are some incredible games for the system that sadly get overlooked because the system is purple and has a handle. Dude, that thing would make a great bag if you cleaned out it's innards. I'd carry it around! Okay, so I wouldn't, but still...[/off_topic]
@Peoplesaying the N64: Really? Where I come from, the N64 was where it was at. Super Smash Bros. after-school FTW!

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
EXPERIENCE MORE.... Arcade-quality graphics, awesome sound, "turbo-charged" game play, exciting TurboChip games... It's the incredible Turbo Genesis 64 Entertainment SuperSystem Experience. There's more fun, more challenge, and more excitment ready for you today!
What?!? N64 and Wii were/are very popular and well known. It was the GC and Dreamcast that struggled in the shadow of the colossus (aka PS2). They were both better, nicer looking with better controllers, but the mainstream adopted Playstation2, while the few proper gamers stayed true to Nintendo and Sega.
