Also, how about StarTropics? Thats a franchise I dont remember seeing a lot of requests for a sequel.

Star Fox or a sequel to Mole Mania.

I'd really like them to tackle Zelda. They need to do something really fresh with that series.

EAD's pride and joy? Retro Studios won't be the company to revolutionise Zelda.

They can probably be counted on to continue the Prime series (I recall Nintendo said that with Other M, Retro Studios and their Prime series wouldn't become obselete) and (depending on sales) a Donkey Kong follow up, but I'd rather see them do their own thing as well.

In fact, regarding that, Nintendo kind of d#cked them around in that respect, cancelling all their projects (laying of employees too), and as such, all they've got round to releasing (as of this date) are the Metroid Prime Trilogy (and Trilogy). Like pixelman said, Raven Blade would be nice, If only Nintendo would have let them work on it.

I wouldn't mind having them make a new Custom Robo game for a console or handheld.

I think a 3D remake of Clu Clu Land would be nice.

I'm sufficiently convinced (esp. if DKR turns out as good as it looks) that Retro's versatile enough to handle just about any genre, like the Rare of yesteryear. I'd be happy to see them take on any Nintendo franchise they and Nintendo decide on.

I also would really like to see a new IP. While there is myriad of Nintendo series out there that could be reinvented/refined, it's always nice to see something fresh the world of endless sequels video gaming is.

Basically, I'm not picky and will be happy with anything, as long as it's a fun game!

Starfox would be cool, but I'd still rather see them resurrect Earthbound on the 3DS. Now THAT would be cool.

You know what? Forget my previous statement. I think Retro should make ANY franchise the basis of their next game. These guys are geniuses.

Basically that in a nutshell.

Anything that needs reviving from the dead. They can do it. (Although Star Fox is my number one choice here)

Starfox is pretty tempting but I think I'd rather them finally get to do their own IP.
But yeah, Retro is pretty awesome. They're like Nintendo's new Rare. Hopefully they don't weaken off and die, like Rare did.

THIS! Certainly a talented developer like them could make a quality new IP! I'd love to see what they could come up with without being bogged down by a pre-existing license!
