Topic: What should be included in the OOT remake.

As all of you know nintendo has been hardpressed to make an OOT remake by angry mobs of zelda fanatics.
Here is what I think should be included.

1.State of the art graphics. Thats right, TP style and exllent textures all the way FTW.
2.Majoras mask. PLEASE bundle it up in a package and then we'll have a reason not to play our orginal/VC. Come on, its not TO much more work, eh?
3.Bonus content ONLY. Thats right, its perfect before, dont mess anything up. But as long as its not changing anything then woo-hoo!
4.Styles, Whatever the main game is designed for, the original graphics, CEL SHADED O_o
5.Boss battle and multiplayer, possibly a dungein speed run mode. And a few co-op dungeons would be nice.
6.Somr cool mode yet to be thought of where you have all the items you obtained from both games and you could use them against all the bossbattle, dungeon run etc...

What? We already got the Ocarina of Time remake with Twilight Princess. We don't need another remake this soon!

I jest, I jest. What I personally would like to see:
1. Upgraded graphics. Anything at or beyond the level of Twilight Princess.
2. Fully orchestrated soundtrack. OoT has one of my favorite soundtracks ever; having it fully orchestrated would be beyond epic.
3. WiiMotionPlus swordplay. The OoT remake has to be as groundbreaking as the original one.
4. Expanded horseback combat.
5. A Hylian knight or somebody who teaches you new sword techniques, like the Hero's Ghost in TP.
6. New items and a new dungeon.
That's all I can think of now. If I think of anything else, I'll post it.

EDIT: Just thought of one. Give us a second quest like in earilier Zelda games. Have it be much more difficult, kind of like Master Quest. That would make all the people who have played OoT to death happy.

All they need to do is shut Navi up, and I'll be happy!

It's not Navi's voice that's annoying. It's that you can't skip through the text and she speaks sooo sloooowlyyy.....

Why should they remake any of the zelda games? Everyone knows the fans would just hate them for many diffrent reasons.
And personally, I dont see any need for a remake, everyone (except maybe Zelda 2^^) are as good as they can be. Changing them would just destroy them i think.

Zelda 2 would be the Zelda to remake. It is a wonderful game design with great music and graphics for its time, but it is unfortunately panned by most fans for its often cheap difficulty. I can't stand the Castlevania-esque deaths incurred by hitting an enemy in front of a pit and bouncing back into it. Some of the jumps have to be almost pixel perfect. And a few required secrets are as obscure as some parts of Castlevania 2. It's one of my favorite games, and it's a super tough choice between it and the original for best Zelda, but it could be better.

Still, I'm not a huge fan of remakes. I'd rather see a new game in the same style (perhaps with some recycled material here and there), or at least a Zero Mission style remake where it is just very loosely based on the original.

Plus, Ocarina already had a remake. It's called Master Quest.

I'll take over them then, lol.

The OP never said this was happening... He's just being a fanboy. I love Zelda too, but let's not beat the dead horse! We don't need a 3D remake of the first 3D Zelda... We need something more along the lines of what Adam was saying... A remake of one of the first 3 or 4 2D masterpieces (my vote is the first game). Or **gasp** a NEW Zelda concept! Hollywood has enough remakes already, let's not bring them into videogames too.
