Topic: What Sega Game would You Like to See Come Back?

Sega has a long history of making awesome games and then forgetting about them. Personally, I think the time is long overdue to bring back "Zaxxon!" Certainly, one of the the most legendary arcade shooters of the 80s. It would make a great WiiWare game.

So what Sega game series would you like to see resurface?

Thanks for the first comment Odnetnin!

I like the old Sonic games too. However, I have kind of a love and hate relationship with Sonic because I feel like Sega really changed with the game and really started to neglect their former successful franchises more and more.

@Turbo Genesis 64 I replied because it was a good topic. The problem with Sonic is that his image is still powerful, yet games are heading down hill at sonic-speed. I was hoping Sonic Unleashed would actually be a return to form for gaming's favorite hedgehog. I was wrong.

@irken004 While I am often frustrated by Sonic Rush, I will say that it stuck closer to the blue guy's roots and is one of the best recent entries in the series for it.

I swear that there was a peroid in the late 90s, before the Dreamcast came out, when the only thing with Sonic's name that was selling was his own brand of pasta.

Why, Sonic of course. Even though Sonic travels at an incredible pace and they have to do a lot of level designs, surely focusing on one game instead of releasing a bunch of Sonics throughout the year would allow them to get more done. I'd settle for a Sonic game like Unleashed without the werehog if it had 1-3 hours of solid gameplay with good reply value (similar to Starfox 64, I've played it hundreds of times and it doesn't get old).

Sonic and Knuckles 2
Vectorman 3
Fatal Labyrinth remake
Ristar 2 (WAY Overdue on that one)
Flicky DS
Kid Chamelion 2 (With a minimum of 100 more levels to beat)
Shinobi.... Yes MORE Shinobi
Did I mention I want another Ristar and Vectorman?

Ill take all these on DS because the system is perfect for these types of games and I can take them on the go with me everywhere.

Phantasy Star V. And none of that online MMORPG crap.

Nothing. Sonic is the only series I ever liked from Sega, and they managed to ruin it, too.

All their making these days are crappy sonic games and nintendo ripoffs (mario kart+ssbb= sega allstars racing). The old Sega will never come back. I loved to see a real sonic game, shenmue, crazy taxi, a real golden axe, streets of rage, jet set radio, ristar... Does anybody really want these sega allstars games....?

My bro got All-Stars Tennis for 360. So much suck. Very awful. Kart might do better, but you can't beat Mario Kart. They are just trying to make their own Smash Bros. like you said.

Don't think I trust Sega to make a great game anymore, they always seem to find a way to muck it up, but if possible a Sonic 3 style game would be great, as would another 2D Streets of Rage and a comic book style Shinobi, the more realistic Shinobi X wasn't that great, Ristar 2 would be nice I can't believe they never followed that game up, also I wouldn't mind seeing the Eternal Champions franchise return along with sequels for Golden Axe Warrior(I think it had one on GG but was more like Zelda 2) and Shining Wisdom.

additional : Shenmue 3, Fighters Megamix 2, Panzer Dragoon game, a 2D Golden Axe game and Chu Chu Rocket wiiware.
