Topic: What makes Twitter so popular?

I don't understand the popularity of Twitter. I don't have a Twitter account, I have a Facebook and MySpace, so I'm sure there are features which I'm not thinking of...but isn't Twitter just like the status updates on Facebook? So basically Twitter is just the status updates thing, and that's it? Couldn't you do the same thing on Facebook?

I agree 100%. I can't even remember to tweet most of the time.
