@Badknux - I've played it, but haven't gotten much far. I did like how Capcom allowed you to duck in that game, iirc (it's been years since I played that game).
I am amazed that no one mentioned the battle againt Lavos, in Chrono Trigger.
The very first several times I got up to Lavos' final form (not his second form 'cause I always beat it with no problem) I kept getting my derrier handed to me.
sadly, i cant even beat the second form so far. man i thought that was his last form! now im depressed

Banjo-Tooie - Hag 1 (Gruntilda, Final Boss), she isn't hard, but I was 11/12 years old when I faced her. I could probably beat her with ease now.(A) FIre Emblem: Path of Radiance - Ashnard (Final Boss). Do I dare to try him on Hard Mode:P Nano Swords & Soldiers - Mission 10, Chinese Campaign. The Mission seems impossible if you don't use the wussy strategy:P Super Smash Bros. Melee - Event 50 (Vs. Master Hand & Crazy Hand), I couldn't even unlock Event 51

I find it interesting how a lot of people have troubles fighting the Shadow Queen. I beat her on my first try. Well, you could count it as a second try because I chose to serve her on my first attempt But its a really tough fight nonetheless.
The most intense fight for me was Mr. Sandman in title defence mode from Punchout!! Oh, the number of failed attempts is uncountable...
