Also, the battle with Malak in KOTOR was pretty hard. It took me a while to figure out what I had to do.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

My toughest battle was with myself, learning to wall jump in Super Metdoid.

I smashed two different SNES controllers in frustration.

I eventually won.

Event 51 is best done with Ganondorf, in 2:04. No strats, just fighting as hard as you can.

@Starkilla - Well in my case, they didn't have YouTube back when Super Metroid first came out. Could you imagine YouTube using a dial-up connection?

I'd have to say the Beyond Good & Evil final boss. I was on a trip with my Wii and that game, and I couldn't get even CLOSE to defeating the main dude. It's just not fair......(goes to cry in the corner)

Oh, that reminds me. Dr. Wily in Megaman 9. Still haven't beaten him (mostly cause I have to keep going through his levels EVERY TIME I TURN THE WII OFF!)

The final versions of Ansem in Kingdom Hearts (1)

SOOOOoooo tough........

StarBoy91

Well, Empress Rimsala (final boss from Arcana) was a bit lenghty of a battle, but I ended up beating her on my first try. That never happens; when I beat final bosses on my first try.
Sigma's two forms in Mega Man X3 are a royal _____.
Galbalan from Ys III took me a while to vanquish, but in the end I find him pretty easy as long as I follow his pattern.
Culex (optional boss) from Super Mario RPG is one tough boss to beat.
Greedy is a total hardship in Ristar.

Honestly, I'd guess I have to say Sigma's two forms from Mega Man X3.

To each their own

Stage 51 (I think) in Melee's Event mode. The one versus Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo. I can't believe it actually gave me an adrenaline rush and my hands started shaking uncontrollably. I was on top of the world the day I beat it.

This. After years upon years of trying to beat those guys, I finally managed to barely beat them with good 'ol Captain Falcon. Not since Mega Man 9 have I felt such a strong sense of accomplishment from winning a game.

Other worthy mentions:

Balore (Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow)
The cube boss from Rez
Grim Reaper (Castlevania)
SA-X (Metroid Fusion)
Dr. Wily/ The twin blobs (Mega Man 9)
Bowletta's second form (Mario & Luigi)- Even though I blazed through the game just recently, this gal still gives me problems...)
All three of Sigma's forms (Mega Man X)

I'm sure there's others, but that's all I got at the moment.
