@RandomWiiPlayer I'll admit the controls were okay, but the spin jump rarely worked. You'd often go in the wrong direction and not make it to where you wanted to go. The spin jump made one level, containing a yoshi and a lot of evil platforms, just plain stupid.
I could do it just fine. That level didn't require the spin jump, and that level was stupid anyway. It took me months to beat it!
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
Super Mario 64 DS is somewhat ruined because of the d-pad controls. For those of you who have played Super Mario 64 DS, but have never played the original, download the VC version of Super Mario 64 ASAP.
I'm heartbroken. Sunshine was awesome. I'm not going to compare it to 64, but it's awesome. Yet it's at the bottom of everyone's lists. edit: Except pie4prez, yay!
0. Super Mario Galaxy 2 1. Super Mario Galaxy 2. Super Mario 64 3. Super Mario 64 DS 4. Super Mario Sunshine
anyone born in the late SNES and early N64 age would have his/her list like this! this is how the list should be! SM64 is a classic!
Er, that's a bit misleading as it looks like you're quoting me. I was born less than a year after the N64 came out, but obviously didn't own one for a few years. I played SM64 when I was young, and remember liking it okay. I came back to it more recently and liked it marginally less. You might also like to know I prefer to have a console experience on a handheld to any other form of game (strange I don't own a PSP, isn't it?). The extra features of 64 DS push it over the edge and then some for me. Like some others 'round here, I think that Sunshine was at least a little underrated. I like F.L.U.U.D. or whatever, I like the island setting, I adore the gameplay, and, imo, the story/game-altering plot points (i.e. flooding of the island at the end) aint half-bad. Fairly brilliant for a Mario game, anyway. Actually I might like this one more than Galaxy, haha. Feel free to discuss this more in-depth with me. Oh, and everyone has an opinion.

64-My very first video game. Period. Sunshine-Loved it, haven't played it in years. 64 DS-Loved it. Controls were not a problem. Galaxy-My favorite. Galaxy 2-Greatly looking forward to this.
I enjoyed Sunshine more than Galaxy because: 1. The Star Spinning in Galaxy can get a little annoying after a while. The F.L.U.D.D. was always fun 2. Galaxy was too easy, even the Toy Time Galaxy Purple Coin Challenge. Sunshine's final Blue Coins hate all humanity 3. Galaxy introduced Rosalina, sure, but the Pihantas, Petey, and Bowser Jr. have become Super Mario All-Stars 4. I really don't get why people liked the Bonefin Galaxy so much. It was too bare bones for me. 5. Turbo Nozzle. Nuff said
