For me it's the shump. I love 'em, but can't seem to beat 'em.
Solar Striker (Game Boy)
Xevious (PC & 3DS Download)
Mobile Light Force 2/Shikigami No Shiro (PS2)
Sin & Punishment: Star Successor (Wii. Not sure if it counts, but I figured I'd mention it, just in case)
Paul's Shooting Adventure (DSiWare)
Those are all the shumps I've played (again, not sure about S&P:SS), & the only one I've beaten is Paul's Shooting Adventure (Needless to say, I'll be getting Paul's Shooting Adventure 2 sometime in the future ).
BTW, if there's already a thread for this, I'm sorry.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Turn Based Strategy. I'm shocked when I'm told how challenging FF Tactics can be considering how good I was at it. Because I suck at every turn based strategy game I've ever played except for that series and Advance Wars.
Fighting games. I see people doing huge awesome sexy combos on Marvel vs Capcom 2. I swear I dedicated lot of time training and I only got half decent using Vega, Hakan and yes even Dan on Super Street Fighter 4. And I got pretty good at Mortal Kombat, using Smoke but I could never do the cool combos and stuff I see on the internet
Fan of: Shin Megami Tensei/ (Classic) Mega Man/ Pokemon/ Batman Arkham/ Metal Gear Solid/Peanuts/ DBZ/ Regular Show/ Power Rangers/The Walking Dead/ Invincible/ Detective Comics/ Secret Six/ Immortal Iron Fist/ Lobo/ Green Lantern
Colors 3D:
Rhythm action games and fighting games. If i was better at the former I could find out what happens later on in Rhythm thief. As for fighters, I don't play many of them and I've won quite a few times online and in streetpass fights in Dead or Alive: Dimensions but it would be cool if I could pull off some of the more complex moves easier and more often.

The only fighter I'm anywhere near decent at is Soul Calibur, not counting Smash Bros. of course.
I could also stand to get a bit better at FPS myself, I'm pretty decent at them but I tend to die quite a bit. I also tend to fall to my death a lot, to the point its become a running gag that if theres a way to fall to your death I'll find it.
Everything.
I STANK at 2d side scroller platformers or whatever they're called. (I'm not sure what they're called)
First person shooters, I'm not sure i never play those except a few times with my cousin. But when we did play he massacred me repeatedly in huge violent explosions and blood and gore and ew...
Action stealth games, I'm still not sure cuz I play the sly cooper series and I guess I'm ok at them, (I don't really have a reference point for how good I am) but I played secret agent clank and I died repeatedly on the first level and after an hour I decided never to touch that game again. (But it might just be the quick-time events you use to stealth kill I'm still not sure)
RPGs well, I still don't have a reference point for a lot of them but I have one for poogeymanz and I'm horrible at poogeymanz so I'll give you that.
Fighting games I think I'm at least average at them, but the only one ive played is super smash bros so... Yeah.
So really I suck at video games in general. and I'm too lazy to give details for every genre but just take my word for it.
Fighting games, anything in first-person, JRPGs >_<
I love JRPGs to death but I generally suck at them. Or maybe I'm just bad at finishing stuff. I've only beaten 3 JRPGs, according to my backlog. Wheeeee
