Topic: What games are on you Backlog to play?

These are games that you currently own but have yet to get too. What are they?

I just started The Legendary Starfy so I skipped a few for that one but Ive got a pretty good lineup of games to get to. NOT to mention the 5 or 6 Im currently playing.

Lately I tend to get to the end of a game, put it aside, and then forget to come back and finish it... I should get out of that habit.

The Last Guy (at the final boss)
Legend of Zelda (at the last dungeon of the second quest)
Neutopia II (last dungeon)
Mario 2: Lost Levels (World 5)
Mario 2: Doki Doki Panic (I forget which world... I've about given up on this one too)
Lit (about to resort to looking up what to do just to finish it)
Final Fantasy 7 (I just started this -- might not finish it, too early to tell)

Not too bad. I should be able to knock out most of this list if I remember to play them. I'll probably be working on Lost Levels forever though, and I doubt I'll finish FF7 because I've never been interested enough to finish FF games. They're just too long.

I don't normally put games aside like that; I generally tend to fire them up within a few days of purchase (same day if a download).

I do have a mental list of games I want to acquire though!

Ah, I forgot about Secret of Mana. I haven't finished that either, but I only find it fun in multi-player, so I will have to take my time with that one. I'd take Evermore over Mana any day. Too bad it's not on VC.

Always buying just a single new game per system if I dont have anything "hot" to play on.

I have a problem with running into Gamestop when Im bored to talk to my buddy that works there and finding things. And my brother in Law is a big gamer also and we never buy the same games and swap out when we finish them. I think I just handed him about 5 PS3 games recently and he gave me Resident Evil 5 (stopped playin it in about an hour I hated it) and Metal Gear Solid 4 wich is goin to be fired up in a bit and will beat that one straight thru with the exception of Starfy wich I will play when I in bed probaly.

In the coming weeks, Super Mario 64 (100% goal), Majora's Mask (same goal as former), and Icarian: Kindred Spirits (whenever it comes out) will be on that list.

@Terranigma Good luck with Zack and Wiki. The last levels just get ridiculous.

I've never really understood why people even have backlogs, or do backlogs include half-finished games? If so, mine is huge. But I've never bought a game and just left it there. I play them ASAP.

Yeah, I don't do that most of the time. Because most of my purchases are DS games and my Wii games tend to be gifts. I just play it as soon as I get home. Sometimes sooner... CRASH!

It includes any uncompleted game.

I tend to buy upon release to avoid having a huge "want" list that can never be fulfilled; this does mean I end up getting games, playing them once just to confirm the disc is good and then not really putting any time into them for months.

If only I had more narrow tastes!

@Sean Aaron....that is really kinda my prob too. I have so many unfinished games from getting new one. Especially pick up and play games. I started MGS4 last night and that one will not go unfinished. As for Rock Band taking up way to much gaming time...well thats is just another forum post I guess....

I've also got Captain Rainbow en route; I should be getting The Munchables in a week or so (only £14.99 from Amazon.co.uk, so fellow EUians get on it!).

... thanks for the head-up on The Munchables Sean Aaron, at a penny shy of fifteen smackers I'm getting this one. Still on Little Kings Story and have to finish Mario Galaxy,Disaster Day of Crisis and then Trauma Centre.

IF you add the Sonic Ultimate collection I bought recently there is another 40+ games lol. Ive been playin the Sonic titles recently again and finishing up Beyond Oasis. I'm seriously thinkin about tackling some Phantasy Star soon...Ive never played any of them and now have all the old one....I think 1-4

Metroid prime corruption, my favorite wii game, so its not really because i neglect it, its because i want to savour it, i used to play it very slowly on purpose, but now i figure its getting dated and i need to complete it quickly lol.

I haven't started Fire Emblem Awakening and the Unfinished Swan and I need to finish Ni No Kuni after I play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
