Topic: What game would you make?

I had a similar "Nintendo dream game" in mind as Corbie's long ago, where each Nintendo character would play through a short world in the style of another Nintendo game except with his own abilities. So Mario running and jumping through Zebes shooting fireballs. Ash Ketchum wandering Hyrule collecting Octoroks and such. Samus delving into Yoshi's island and shooting Shy Guys. Fun times.... maybe.

Another idea I had was actually sort of stolen by a game coming out soon on PS3 (Demon's Souls). I envisioned a Zelda game in the style of the original but with random dungeons and you optionally can play connected online. While online, at any time you might run into another player who may decide to help or hurt you without warning, and such a player could disguise himself as an enemy, so if someone is clever, you'll never know if you're fighting AI or real intelligence. How suspenseful. Demon's Soul has some of those features. Can't wait!

So I take it you're buying Demon Souls? A friend sent me media last week--dunno how I missed it, as the combination of difficult Dungeon-Crawling, kick-ass PS3-exclusive graphics, really novel online play concepts, and Atlus just seems to reek of Win.

Got another 6 days of my free month of Amazon Prime to make my decision...

Yep, I plan to get it on day one. It is a very exciting concept. I can't wait to stalk other dungeon crawlers and play cooperatively friends. This and Fat Princess are at the top of my PS3 radar for 2009.

You mean play MALICIOUSLY AGAINST (former) friends?

If some more people express interest I might end up having to get it....when you play with a group on games like this it magnifies the ownface coefficient. Really stoked about WKC for the same reason.

EDIT: BTW, got CRASH COMMANDO yesterday since the price dropped to 4.99 last week....I'm in love. You could do much worse than spending 5 bucks on it--2d version of an FPS, and it's fantastic. FP looks awesome...too bad I missed the ridiculimited Beta Key distribution run.

If i could make a game. It would have a virtual helmet. And a satellite in the sky takes pictures of your city, which is programmed into the game. What you do is virtually walk around and pretty much do anything you want. Rob a bank, commit a murder, buy a happy meal at Mcdonalds, you get the point. Oh and you can also fly,go to jail, stalk someone, torcher,etc.
And this great game would be available at a great price of only $999.99. It would be called "Your City". Followed by a sequal, "your world. Followed by the prequal...."your house".
I dont know if this is exactly on subject but yea.

um, okay. hey, pixelman, for my game "Pixel Panic", I think I'll make the hero Pixel Ninja, and he can shoot out shurikens when you play a "note" on the pipe.
