the waiting game:
I pretend I'm not anxious while I wait my new game to be delivered in the mail
just to be amazed for 2 days or less finish it too quickly and not touch it until 6 months later(that's why I don't like buying from the internet)

goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

@GuSilverFlame I don't know if it's any good, but my brother loves it. Hopefully, you'll love it, too.

Anyways, in honor of Wolfenstein:The New Order's launch today, I'm playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Dunno why I don't just play The New Order....

Mass Effect 2 - Just completed the Collector Sjip boarding mission. At first I wasn't liking this game as much as the first, but now it's really growing on me. It's nice that the side quests feel more important in this game, and while planet scanning is boring as hell, I like it more than wandering around planets and it's more rewarding than surveying.

There are sime niggles here and there, but I feel like the combat and level progression is more satisfying now, especially since I just got the old Shotgun again in that last mission.

Dragon Warrior II - Just got the Evil Staue and now I'm exploring the road to Horgan's Castle, looking for the Life Crest. EDIT: Just got the Life Crest and the Rubiss Charm.

Pandora's Tower, really enjoying it

Currently Playing: Super Mario Odyssey, ARMS, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Steamworld Dig 2, A Hat In Time, (maybe some Wii games over Thanksgiving w/ the fam)

Kid Icarus: Uprising. Just got it through gamefly and I'm enjoying it so much. The controls aren't bad at all, as I have gotten used to them the first couple of minutes I played.

I also have been thinking about playing Persona 3 Portable and Blazblue again, but we'll see.

I've downloaded the Ikaruga demo on Steam today (didn't even know it had it, LOL) and boy, the game is freaking hard and good at the same time, even had to adjust the controls for me to play the game. But that's ok, because I love a good challenge when it comes to Shoot 'em ups. Going to try buy the full game this week or just wait for the summer sale to buy it and Ys l and ll, plus some other games I've been keeping my eye on.

Strong Bad Episode 5 - My first time playing the Strong Bad series and I'm enjoying it so far. I downloaded the episode off of WiiWare. I know I can buy the whole series for 20 on Steam, but I'd rather play them on my TV. Lately I've been going through and downloading a bunch of WiiWare games I missed out, so I may end up buying more of this series.

Frogger Returns - Bought on WiiWare. The game has some flaws, but for 5 bucks I think it is worth it. I've had fun with it, and my two year old daughter likes trying to play it.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I've played pretty much every single Zelda game up through Wind Waker. The only ones that I've missed have been Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and the DS games.

And I have to say...I'm mildly disappointed. As far as games go, it's a good game. But as a Zelda game, it's....lacking. So far, we have almost no exploration (the Sky should make this one of the very best games in that regard, and so far it's been nothing but a massive disappointment), a rather small inventory by Zelda standards, and a game that feels more and more like it's using Ocarina of Time as a cheat sheet as time goes on. The only things that really stand out to me so far are the characterizations (I really enjoy the relationship between Link, Zelda and Groose so far), but even that isn't fully realized - the knight academy feels like so much more could have been done with it, but instead it's relegated to the intro and a sidequest or two.

Oh well, there's still time to turn things around. I'm only at the water temple so far, so by my reckoning I still have about half a game to go.

Final Fantasy: Lightning Returns

I'm only a few hours in, but I'm just about ready to say this game deserves all the hate it got prior to release. The story feels very disconnected from the previous games, the characters got changed for no reason and Lightning has literally no personality. The gameplay is monotonous, there's barely any reason to fight monsters, the battle system is repetitive, and every quest so far has been dull as dishwater. I can't believe the true ending in Final Fantasy XIII-2 makes everything you did pointless just so this game could be made...

Quake 1 N64. I love the unique atmosphere and monsters and its unique place in gaming history.
