Double Dragon on the Wii's Nes VC.
I plan on giving Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and go next. And you know, I'm alittle pissed at myself right now. 2010 has been such an amazing year for the Wii, yet I've only played a few out of the dozen big hitters this year. I get too caught up in retro titles! It's because i love games that are incredibly challenging, yet short and sweet. Mega Man 10 was the main 'yet dissapointing' highlite for me regarding the Wii this year...Yet the hype for it before hand was insanely exciting for me.
Wii Sports Resort was another good one, and I've only played a chunk of Super Mario Galaxy 2 which I found absolutely amazing so far. But I'm saving it for January. Good thing I also have Kirby's Epic Yarn, DKCR, Tatsunoku Vs Capcom and NMH2 unopened which are all from 2010, because I seriously need to play catch up! I've still gotta get Metroid: Other M, Sin & Punishment 2, Wii Fit Plus, Golden Eye 007, Sonic Colors and Epic Mickey to play along with several others which were released in 08' and 09'
But I never rush an experience, which some people tend to do just to get to the next game they have unplayed out of the many. Anybody else in the same boat as me? It's my own fault hehe. I always want everything to be perfect, so I can look back and say what a great experience that game was. I have 8 Wii games in my collection that I still need to play, so I better get on it!
That is....Whenever I finish Double Dragon, which will hopefully be tonight! But right after I watch Toy Story 3 hehe.

I'm playing Majora's Mask obsessively. I'm enjoying the darker storyline and atmosphere, intense gameplay, and fantastic sidequests. It's been awhile since a game has had me biting my nails 'cause I can't get to the end of the dungeon in time, but this game has been getting me every time. <3

Ahhh the original hey?I couldn't stand the open world...It made my eyes wan't to hurl if that's even possible and it was incredibly boring to navigate through along with the tiring and annoying jobs. The actual gameplay got pretty repetive and bland in a few parts,But the combat itself was golden, along with the kick boss battles, and the crazy presentation and style were killer. That aside, the original is like a 7/10 to me...I got rid of it though, in favor of the sequal. No more open world rubbish and 8 bit jobs? Hell yes!

(Didn't say it had to be on a Nintendo system lol)Splinter Cell Conviction- Best Buy has it and POP: The Forgotten Sands for $9.99 each right now, so I used my $20 Reward Zone voucher for them (it expires on the 2nd I think).

I'm going to have to stay away from this one, as that game is like 11/10 for me. Having no more open world in the sequel automatically makes it at least 2 points worse. Where's the charm?
Anyway, I'm currently not really playing anything, because my grandpa is here for a week, and he is in the room with the Wii. I'm trying to work on Red Steel 2, Sakura Wars, and Mini Ninjas right now, if I can.

There's zero charm in the first NMH's Open world. It's poorly done, incredibly lack luster and bland graphically, the frame rate is insanely choppy, and it's just an eye sore to look at. The Combat, Bosses, presentation and weebo tunes were ace though. But what I don't understand is that they threw in that scorpion catching Job in NMH2 and it was never 8-bit ified. It was the same 3D one in the original....Was that some kind of inside joke to the NMH fans or something?lol

Currently I'm playing Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Meat Boy and Bio Miracle somethin' somethin' . The first two have already proven to be difficult, while the latter has these annoying conveyor belts in World 5 that make the mini-boss battles annoying as heck. I'm also playing Pac-Man CE DX which is pretty awesome.

It might not mean much, but on XBLA I'm in the top 500 on the game (the average for the entire thing, the last item on the menu screen) out of (at the time a few days ago) like 72,000+ players. Definitely an awesome game and honestly one of the most addictive and best of the year. There's just something about playing the time trials over and over just to knock .11 seconds off your time or whatever amount that just keeps you going back and back for it.

I've been playing quite a bit of Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. Never played an R&C game before. Aside from the number 1 spot, I've been playing: Super Scribblenauts and Pac-Man Championship Edition DX (which won't upload my trophies, wtf).

@WaveBoy: I have to agree with grenworthshero. I enjoyed the open world in NMH, and actually missed it in the sequel. It is no-where near as bad as you make out.
edit: oh, and I'm playing DKCR and FIFA 11, atm.
