Topic: What does your compter desktop/homescreen look like?

How so. All of the people who talk doodoo about the OS likely has never used it. Its literally in most cases a faster windows 7 with added features. It just seems that people complain about having to learn the oddest things. After getting situated to metro its much more intuitive than using the old desktop stuff due to having Live tiles and Notifications. The only time I really go into dektop is to use a select few applications (office, Visual Studio, bittorrent) everything is much easier and more friendly to use in Metro. Plus apps developed like Metro don't look like crap and have a lot of nice features that would be hard to find on regular windows hardware..

To be honest I get why some people wouldn't like it since you have to change the way you interact with your computer but I see this the same as when changing from dos to having a gui. That and anyone who has spent any amount of time with a tablet probably won't be confused. also I guess it doesn't hurt that my laptop has a touch screen,

Also what's bad about the 360 Homescreen?

My computer homescreen is boring, but my iPod Touch looks like this

for the home screen.

I've actually been thinking of switching to something like this. I haven't actually played through the first two games, but what can I say.
If it's colourful, I'm happy.

It USED to be neat and tidy, but I must have done an input which made all the icon go to the left side by accident, completely messing it up. I just gave up at that point. I really should get it sorted some time...

One of my favorite underrated NES games! That's a great idea.

Mine is the boxart for Kid Icarus: Uprising. I would have changed it by now, but "my" computer (it technically belongs to my parents, but nobody uses it anymore unless they need something printed out) is a very old Windows xp and I can't figure out how to make images fit properly on the screen. The KI:U picture was the only one I found that didn't get cropped into several small pieces. I really wish my parents would just get a new computer, but seeing as my mom got a laptop recently, and my dad has his own office plus an iPad, it seems incredibly unlikely.

I just have a fall default image, but the Super Mario Galaxy 2 screensaver from Club Nintendo is my screensaver. That Pikmin Pic looks like it would be cool to put on, though...
