A penny whistle set to record covers of video game soundtracks and a wii u. The second is pretty unlikely though since my parents aren't making much money right now.

Waiting for: BOTW 2, Metroid Prime 4, Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Not really sure, I'm at that age where I buy most of my things and its more fun giving gifts than receiving them. I don't like to tell people exactly what I want since to me it doesn't really feel like a gift anymore but at any rate I would rather have something I could really use, even if its just cloths its better than a bunch of junk that'll just get thrown into a drawer or closet.
Money. Its easy, it doesnt require the giver to go to a store, there's no shipping charge on it, and best of all the receiver doesn't have to return it.

I'm not sure really. I pretty much buy my own luxury items these days...
Yeah... I already bought the Wii U and the games and accessories I want for it... And wave two of Skylanders: Giants is probably gonna come out after Christmas knowing our luck(thanks for making America deplete the whole stock Activision )... I did order the glow in the dark Cynder/Portal pack from Amazon.de a while ago and that says it should come around the 10th so maybe I can get my parents to hold onto that.
I guess I'm at the age where I just don't care about getting gifts anymore . I did tell my wife I wanted the new book from The Onion and some new shirts though.
But I am also getting a ski (for water skiing) as well, so I would have to be really lucky to get one.
But I actually am a twin so basically what I get my brother gets as well so we sorta get double what others get!
Currently playing: Rhythm Heaven, Minecraft (XBLA), Pokemon B/W 2, Halo 4, The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave, Fallblox, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GCN)
Will be playing soon: Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Cave Story +, Wii U: NSMBU, Nintendo Land, (And lots more!)

So you literally mean one ski, then. Because your other brother will get the other ski.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
I would like to posit a theory here: once you hit a certain age, what you get for Christmas is less important than the intentions behind the act of gift giving. Some of the best gifts I have ever received have been useless interns of practical use.

Well we don't literally get ONE HALF of everything. It would get quite messy for the Wii U!
It is actually a single ski though, so we both 'share' it, not cut it in half! I guess I didn't really make myself clear...

I'd say thats about right. Even if the gift is a bit awkward or disappointing the meaning behind it is still sound.Even if something isn't practical doesn't mean it isn't useless, jewelry for example will see at least some use especially when used to pop the question.
