Topic: What do you all do to calm/satisfy yourselves when you deeply miss someone?

I would tell you to go for it, get her number or whatever before you spend ages regretting it afterwards (which will happen, and will feel a lot worse than possibly feeling stupid if she says no). I've just gone for things in the past, and it is generally the right thing to do (if you know what you're doing)... however, with your age difference, I wouldn't advance too far on her. Or, you could do, and then sue her for you being underage. Either way works.

1.Have you asked her phone number yet? You need to ask her that ASAP.

@SuperSonic1990: 1. I haven't asked her yet. We're close, but I don't want her to think that asking for her number would be awkward. If I did get her number, we'd just talk as friends. I don't believe anything would advance beyond that. I gotta wait till I'm 18 to even be able to ask her.

2. Quite a bit. She enjoys it, haha. I wouldn't call her a hard hard alcoholic, but she's in the middle. She got drunk one night when we went to a Chinese restaurant. That's another thing. Sometimes it could be hard to deal with someone who drinks alot.

Oh yeah, and if I had to have anybody tell her I like her, it would have to be someone we both know, since she probably won't think it's a cheap trick. Sorry.

If you miss her so much, ask her to dinner. I don't see anything wrong with it if all you're doing is eating or watching a movie.

Worrying about the age difference is dumb. If you end up liking spending time with this girl and she feels the same, you will thank God everyday that you did ask her out. Just...don't tell anyone if you kiss her (or more heh)

@RJay - Yeah, I always thought of maybe just hanging out with her with a couple of friends both she and I know so it's not so awkward for her. Like I said, asking her out would probably get her startled, because I'm too young for her. She'd be shocked. My mom actually said she might hold a pool party over the summer to help raise money for the group so...I don't know...plus I don't even think I'm worthy even talking to this girl, and I feel lucky that we do often talk. You haven't even seen her...

I hear there's a talent show in your neighbourhood with a grand prize that amounts to exactly your director's debt. By entering the competition you'll be taking part in a zany scheme which lasts roughly half an hour with many laughs along the way. All the loose ends will tie up, and who knows, you may even learn something.

Seriously though, if you're such good friends you should have her number. Don't call her every day, maybe every other weekend or so.

You're right Machu. And I already am. I was finally able to get a small chat going on Facebook with her. It wasn't big, I just asked her what she thought of the party the night before. So we talked a bit then she had to go stay over a friends house with a group because they're all driving to Boston today for the big 4 Of July Day thing so I let her go. At least now I know she wasn't really ignorant when I tried talking to her before, and now I feel alot better knowing we can probably talk sometimes, and that doing so is not impossible.

I can't even remember what she looks like now, just another name on a list (that i butchered onto my arm with a knife, only joking).

What I did when my best friend moved to Texas, I cried my eyes out.
Then my sister said that my pizza was ready and I was all better!

So I was able to get a hold of her on Facebook today and we had a good talk, so it's all OK now that I know she's not ignoring me when she wasn't able to get back to me before. I just have to make good timing when talking to her. Not to do it everyday. Maybe 1-3 times a week, and everything should be alright. The worst thing I could ever do would be to annoy a girl.
