I would also say that Good-Feel, Skip Ltd, and Next Level Games would be cool. Because they have worked with Nintendo on several games...why not acquire them?
this is the only one I agree with unless Nintendo actually pulls their "literally supporting our console all by ourselves" card that I've thought might almost be a good idea at points (though keep in mind, this would require them to be an almost Disney sized company potentially). Nintendo should focus on expanding their own studios beyond this instead of acquiring too many others. XSEED is especially a bad idea since they're willing to publish on Nintendo with absolutely no money thrown to them by Nintendo anyway and nothing would change except Nintendo would have spent more money and maybe get some of the completely ignored outside of Japan YS series.
If I had to choose anyone large though, Capcom. A Nintendo bought Capcom would making gaming so much better because anyone else in the world needs to be running Capcom except for the people currently running Capcom. And also Nintendo would be the most likely to make Megaman a household name again, which would be nice.
TBH I'd rather have Atlus than XSEED as long as Nintendo kept the Atlus of America up and running to localize games just like XSEED could. Besides XSEED is on my temporary naughty list since they didn't fix the nasty bugs in the NA version of Pandora's Tower.
That and IMO Atlus MAKES better games than XSEED LOCALIZES typically. Win, Win to buy Atlus. Well, I shouldn't bash on XSEED too much though, I loved Last Story, Pandora's Tower (grrr, glitches), and Rune Factory to death, and we wouldn't have any those without them.
With the right plan on how to treat and promote the IP of who they'd buy pretty much any dev that makes best-selling or at least critically acclaimed games would be a good choice. While it's not probable in any kind of way just imagine what would happen if FIFA, Call of Duty, Need for Speed and GTA were Nintendo exclusives.
Personally i'd love to see the classic point and click games on Ninty platforms. Be it in the VC way, as remakes or completely new titles in the vein of these classics i just think they'd be natural fit for their systems and image.
If you must have names and if there's actaully any way i'd love to see them buy Sierra, Telltale and the rights to all the good old LucasArts stuff then.
Capcom would be great too, especially if we'd get the majority of their awesome 8- and 16-Bit games in some way.
Nintendo should buy the company that makes Super Mario Bros., they're a great company!!!!

Rare....I want them back, and maybe Nintendo can make them the greatest again.
Rare is missing the best people. They aren't making crap games because they are with M$. They are making crap games because all those good people left. They suck now, and they will continue to suck forever.
It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool, just like bowties.
