Topic: What are your gaming pet peeves?

Water levels (ESPECIALLY in Sonic) and long intros. Why can't you just skip it and get into the game??

@SonicMaster I also hate Water levels, Mario in particular but sonic is also Rough.

People getting in the way of my screen when I need to be able to see it. (ie= lvl.18 portal, This happened to me today.But I was just replaying it so it's okay.)

Long unskippable scenes that have to be viewed again if you die.

People who want to be complete jerks while playing a game, especially online. Whether it's camping, or spamming, or halting progress on purpose, or taking advantage of a glitch or something, I hate it all.

I have the same problem.

When people say MW2 is soooo great Ive played it a lot this week and I would give it an 8.5/10

I'd say an 8.5 is pretty close to "great", myself.

Running out of batteries for the wiimote. I need to take it out of the condom and remove the cover.......

When you cant get comfortable where your sitting but need to be in front of the Sensor bar.

Trying to manage forced IM/phone conversations while playing games like Guitar Hero, Rock Band, DDR, or games with unpausable cutscenes that I'm trying to watch.

when people call samus a boy. "where do you think metroid keeps all his missiles?"

or when people call link zelda.

Agreed.

When people criticize the way you play a character in Smash Bros. even though the way you play is 'different' for once and there's so many different ways to play with a character.

Oh, and those dumb hackers that ruin your ranking points in Mario Kart Wii.. WTF? And FunkyKong+Bike users.. Heck, I think bikes in MKWii were unnecessary and overpowered.

This right here. I hate Tier Lists! So what if I don't use Meta Knight? It's a free country, and I can pick whoever I want!

I also agree with the Mario Kart Wii hacker pet peeve, only I'm more annoyed about them always having the best items all the time. That's why I don't go online that much with Mario Kart anymore.

Now onto my own personal annoyances, I hate having to pick up a phone while I'm really into a game, just to hear someone trying to sell me AT&T or trying to have a long conversation. Aargh!!!!

When I have to walk my friends through EVERYT menu step by step ugh...

I hate water that lacks transparency, reflection, refraction, rarefraction etc... unless it's cell shaded (Wind Waker's Ocean), then I dont care..

Oh.. And "circle shadows"..
