Topic: What are your gaming pet peeves?

For me I'd have to say I have a really hard time playing on greasy controllers and people not washing their hands before using mine xD. I actually go and wash the controller with a slightly damp napkin if it's greasy

I'm sure I have others, but i'll just say that one, because its a big one

My TV has some weird thing where its not aligned properlly, so my image always tilts to the left the slightest.

Attempting to play Wii games in the summer. Window + bright sunlight + shiny things between me and the TV = Wiimote pointer hell. Got Super Mario Galaxy 2 today, the only reason I'm not playing it right now is because I can't point at the screen to collect Star Bits or aim Yoshi's tongue (although I got 4 stars earlier and I have to say this game is completely incredible already).

Yes. But it's a beautiful day and sitting inside with the curtains closed to play a game seems a little... miserable. As great as SMG2 is, I'd rather sit outside and enjoy the day

Some of my friends give me a lot of grief whenever I use walkthroughs, even though I usually only use them when I feel like I'd otherwise not finish the game.

Also, people who are uber-competitive are no fun to play in multiplayer. Losing is fine but not when it's rubbed in your face.

It's been overcast/cold/windy/rainy for days over here.

Trying to play my DSi in the car but not being able to see the screen, but turning up the brightness and the battery turns red.

I can't play with people who suffer from Gamer Rage. Its just a game, what is the big deal if you lose?

People who tell me not to get so upset over a game when I'm already upset over a game.

Yeah, Cheetos and gaming do not mix, which is my pet peeve, because Cheetos would be the perfect gaming snack. I guess not being able to really eat any sort of finger food while playing at the same time and keep your controller perfectly clean would be my pet peeve.

@corbie completely agree, i hate that too, it almost seems like people do it jus because they find it funny to see someone lose. my brother does that a lot when i get killed before a killstreak in modern warfare 2 online. he'll laugh at me and ill try and pretend im not cheesed off

When I try to load up a Wi-Fi game and my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector craps out for no good reason.

If im playing playying a gamimng system that has HD graphics(360,ps3) then I have to play it on a HD t.v. or it just doesnt feel right. Like im missing the best part of the next gen systems whole reason for beening. When I got my 360 when it first came out I shell out a extra 500 for a 32 inch wide screen and havent looked back since. I use to play my friends 360 on a regular big screen t.v. and it just wasnt the same. He said it never bother him, but it (almost) use to kill me a little on the inside when we would game the night away on that t.v.
