Just like most of you here, I'm rather excited about the big Nintendo media summit on the 24th. There seems to be alot of hype surrounding what may be being announced there and alot of sites (including this one) are hyping "big surprises." What I'm wondering is why does everyone expect some huge surprise? Did Nintendo ever come out and say something reguarding a big announcement? zit just seems like this is just an event for demos and stuff and like something big may not come out there. Trust me, I want something absolutely AMAZING to be announced tomorrow but I don't want to get excited unless it's justified. So can someone clarify exactly why there is strong reason to believe something big is on the way?
Australia is having it now, whatever they say will most likely be the same as tomorrow.
Really? Right this second? Well that doesn't make me feel much better as I have seen no interesting news today...... I think I got myself expecting too much and now i'll be let down
Actually TBH, I want things more on the side of software announcements, hardware announcements, and virtual stuff like DSi VC, Wiiware demos, and DSi SD menu.

I'm guessing it will be the US/European ones that will have the big news. Probably poor Australia is just going to find out when things the US and Europe already have come out there and whatever demos/trailers they have. I will be pleasantly surprised if they let the cat out of the bag on the "big" announcements a day early (esp. since i'm closer to Australia time than US/UK)!
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery

Yeah, that's the only piece of logic I'm clinging to in the hopes that I will have a great Nintendo surprise grace my computer screen tomorrow.
I dont know why but something makes me think theyll show a short Zelda teaser on this summit because the last few weeks lot of infos have leaked but no info on release or screen play just a little teaser like they did for (chou chou)spirit tracker an some new wiiware projects but nothing too big its just a media summit the only thing i dont understand is why US,Europe and AUS are having it the same day?
The Australian summit was a little bit disappointing.
Agreed. If the US one is that much of a let down, I may slip into deep depression. I REALLY hope tomorrow's summit is all my mind has built it up to be!!
Does anyone know what time the US summit is supposed to start?
9 AM Pacific Time.
I am expecting to see what will Nintendo will announce but I am not expecting anything amazing. That's normally for E3. So no, no Zelda wii nor the idiotic WiiHD that Pachter likes to keep shouting.
I think we'll see something about japanese games being localized like Last story, Sin and punishment and maybe but I doubt it, Zangeki.
Also, the official hype for Monster hunter 3 when they will clarify if it will be free or not.
SMG2 and maybe Metroid: anime boobs will be there in some way.
Judging for the Australian one, they will announce a Black wii for america and the street date for DSiXL
And maybe something Wiiware related, like Cave story finally?
And that's it. MAYBE a small scaled suprise like last year (Virtual Console arcade/SD menu) but maybe not.
