Wal-mart will be getting into the used game business. They will accept games but not hardware and they will only be giving store credit with no choice for cash. However the credit can be used towards other purchases like food, clothes or whatever else you can get at Wal-mart or Sam's Club.
So will any of you be taking advantage of this or will you stick to Gamestop for trading in your games?

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
@ogo79 its ok for them to raise earthbound price now, i bought it, but i still think it'd be unfair.
Also, I never buy games at my Wal-Mart. Theres a Gamestop right next to it, if u compare the prices of 'new' games, wal-mart jacks it up 10-15 dollars
Do you like videogames? If so, you must know
It's dangerous to go Alone.
@justlink: At least Walmart sell new games unlike Gamestop who sells used games as new.
Anyway I dont see myself using Walmart to trade in games for one thing I dont like Walmart and for another I have several other places around town that I'd much rather trade games in to get other games and no it's not Gamestop.

I think they'll be at an advantage if they accept games from older systems.
I think Wal-mart only plans to take in games from the systems that they still sell new games from so that would be PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, DS, 3DS and Vita. I can't see them taking older console games. Also the article said no hardware only games.

This will be good for anyone who doesn't have a close enough Gamestop or other used game stores...which is the only reason to go to Wal-Mart for Games, IMO...
Finally! I'm often in the mood to mingle with the dregs of American society and bear witness to child beatings while getting credit for my old games...and this scratches that itch.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
Actually I think Gamestop has stopped taking in GBA games...not sure. They did say they no longer accept gamecube, so i assumed it was the same deal for GBA.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
OK, a GBA game was a bad example, but still, you're better off selling them on ebay most of the time. Last year I sold various Zelda GBA & GameCube games for $45 - $85 each. Last month I sold a DS game for $21 on ebay, again GameStop probably would have offered me $2 - $3 for it.

Yeah Gamestop only takes the current gen and one gen back so as Nintendo handhelds are concerned that would be 3DS and DS.
