Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (though I haven't been able to find anything about it on these threads).
I am looking at purchasing some video capture software so I can record game footage and show speed runs / thoughts about games on youtube and the like.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of this technology and if they could provide any suggestions. I have an iMac, so the device would need to be compatible with the mac, and if it were possible to transfer footage to Final Cut Pro (which I have) that would be awesome because I would like to put some audio to the tracks as well.
If I could get some suggestions/opinions on this that would be awesome.
It should. Most Video editing software has a caption option. Even Windows Movie Maker can. The only think Worth nothing that when they talk about devices like camcorders, Some camcorders hooked up with AV/Composite cables. All you need is a video capture card that is compatible with a mac. and instead of a camcorder hooked up through the av jacks hook up the Wii/Game system.
If you want something good for Mac, I use Screenflow.
