I was recently informed that a large percentage of the flavoring in raspberry candy is extracted from the anal glands of skunks. Yeah, I don't eat raspberry flavored candy anymore. This is more disgusting than anything. But what's interesting is to wonder. Who decided a skunk's anal glands would make for some good raspberry flavoring? Thats almost as good as the rumor that Red Bull and other energy drinks were made from a an ingredient that was extracted from a bull's semen. Which is one reason after hearing that I dont drink energy drinks anymore.

Well, energy drinks like Red Bull have taurine which is is a major constituent of bile and is present in many animals (including humans, if you need to know). It is named after bulls because it was first extracted from them.

I just looked that up, and the sinking also happened on an April night. That's actually kinda spooky.
