I agree, Zelda 2 is by far the best side-scrolling Zelda game!
Better than Links Awakening (Which has some sidescrolling bits ?).
I think they should try another Adventure of Link style one though. (Certainly more than something like A Link Between some more worlds).
Metroidvania style LOZ?
Capcom at E3: Guys we're sorry about how we've been treating Mega Man so we're gonna make it up to you by releasing the Mega Man Cancelled Collection with all the titles we cancelled in the condition they we're in just before we pulled the plug. Now who wants Street Fighter X Monster Hunter?
Now I can understand why some people like Arin can't appreciate masterpieces because of what they feel about them but this isn't the case. Whenever Nintendo makes great games and when it ages, people complain so much about it I mean for crying out loud, many of the games that Nintendo makes was revolutionary heck its like saying that Super Metroid isn't good anymore because prime is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy better.......what kind of stupid gamers are there these days.

I could put up with a little bit but I would much rather have combat focused. (Funny because I love Rondo of Blood which is supposed to be one of the main influenced of the Metroidvania genre however nearly all of them seem to have very little in common with it).

I was going to post a long-winded counter to why Egoraptor's claims in that video are full of Goron droppings, but there a post from NeoGAF linked in the comments that does it much better than I can. Egoraptor's argument is really just some flimsy ranting interspersed with random swipes at Skyward Sword.
I actually like bosses that say the same things over and over again. (You know what they say the more the merrier, you know what they say the more the merrier.) Its pretty funny and I don't understand why most people complain don't like it mute it unless the music is that incredible.
