I think Assassins Creed 3 was the best Assassins Creed game ever made even better then 2! Why? Cause it removed the problems the other games had. A huge open world filled with life, side quest that were actually great and a combat system that wasn't hard to learn. It was simple, quick and actually fun! More weapons to use and they all had their own different style! Jesus this game does not the credit it deserves.
Having completed both Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine to 100%...I can say I prefer Sunshine considerably.
It controls better, it has more comfortable levels to explore. Yes 100 coin missions are still a thing but with the exception of 1 or 2, they are significantly more manageable and less frequent than in 64. Blue coins are a bit of a pain yes, and there are a lot more Red Coin missions, but they are also more manageable. Less room to bugger up completely.
Topping it all off, with a few exceptions, namely Delfino Plaza side areas, and one or two missions, the game didn't infuriate me on a game design basis as much as 64. In fact, the game felt a lot more consistent. And I appreciate that.
Now for the flame war.
Now Playing: Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Crash Bandicoot 4
I generally prefer Sunshine as well, mostly for the advancements and some fair trade offs.
Better camera, no punching and kicking but you do get FLUDD whom has a bigger range and adds extra movement abilities, can't get shines out of order but missions are more straight forward and less cryptic, less hub to explore but still a fair amount of secrets and is generally a lot more streamlined and quicker to traverse, Yoshi, less levels but better level design and less repeating set pieces, dieing keeps you in the level or sub section rather than booting you out, and better coin shine handling (spawns in a set place).
Still has its fair share of problems like some pretty nasty bugs, removal of the long jump, no way to keep track of blue coins collected/ to be collected (bonus points if its an old save file from over a decade ago (I feel old)), and a bit less mission variety. But still I like it more than 64 overall, though that may be because I played Sunshine first, so a tiny bit bias.
While I'm not the biggest fan of the F2P model, if it's handled right, it can work well. It's mostly due to some of the larger F2P games that are largely just cash grabs that have caused so many people to look down on F2P games. This Cracked article shows pretty bad abuse of the F2P model and the tricks they use to make money.
I think Mario Party 10 is a fun, yet different kind of addition to the series. Been playing since 99.
Other M's gameplay was alright.
I prefer my Sonic games with several characters to choose from and no boost mode.
Let's see what else I got...
After this next update, I want more local multiplayer love on Splatoon before anything else.
BONUS: Jar Jar was a pretty fun character.

Anyone who says that mobile games will kill the game industry doesn't know what they are talking about.

@Aromaiden: Problem is that there are 2 types of OS which are Android and IOS. Since we know that Android depends on how powerful the phone is, if Nintendo only releases it to IOS, it would only be a niche market because of Apple phones being expensive compared to a smartphone.
Open world games are extremely overated. Yet to play one genuinely jaw dropping version of this, be it zombies (Dying Light), superhero action (Batman), ones based on real life (Watch_Dogs & GTA) or the dozens of others that are so not-special I can't even remember them now for this list. I still have yet to play Skyrim and the Fallout games, but it don't think I ever will as Bethesda's games look so boring. Maybe that could be a 2 for 1 unpopular opinions, yet being a major AAA 3rd party publisher, of course they specialise in open world games.
I just find open world games impossible to take seriously from minute one especially coming from Ubisoft's statement last year when they confirmed the only reason it's become the latest fad is because they're relitivley simple to develop and they work perfectly for DLC, and the main focus of it is just to pad-out the game and artificially inflate the game's length and content to avoid people trading them in after a week, you can just tell playing them that they'd be better games if they cut out the fat and made them more linear.
Oh and the ridiculous hype levels that an open world game gets is another reason I hate them. Showcase a giant world game at E3 and you win, or at least that's what FFXV, Just Cause 3, Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn and 99% of Ubisoft's games tell us. I just hope Zelda U, Xenoblade Chronicles X and MGSV can buck the trend and make an actual great and memorable open world.

Apple phones are smartphones(like ipads are tablets). Nintendo needs to release to at least all three major mobile OS's(Android, iOS and Windows 10M) if they are serious about their mobile aspirations.

they could probably skip Windows Phones and be fine in the mobile market, already plenty skip Android and are fine lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

They could also skip iOS and be fine too. Android has up to 80% in many markets. With Windows 10 they have a much larger market than previous Windows Phones. Because not only will their mobile games work on phones, but all Windows 10 tablets and PC's too. Plus they can easily port the iOS or Android versions to W10.
