Chances are no one isn't going to help me on Youtube, they never do, lol...So I'm gonna ask here, I have my own Youtube account obviously, uploaded quite a few videos...Most of them were in AVI format, but the sizes were quite bit, and took me forever to upload them. And just recently I tried the WMV and took very little time...but the quality ended to being sucky.

Who else does Youtube videos?...What's the best file format to go with? Was hoping something in between, where the video runs well with little to no framerate drops, but have the size reasonably small so it doesn't take me forever to upload, lol.

The last couple of videos I uploaded were .mov... (that's a Quicktime movie, btw)

That reminds me, gotta check and see what the capture program supports for file types...
checks I can only make AVI, WMV, MPEG1, and QTMOV. (which I'm assuming is Quicktime).
Which one you think would be best? Seems like AVI gave me pretty good quality, but the file size ended up being very large, while WMV had very little file size but cruddy video quality. Never tried the other two yet.

Hmm... never heard of "QTMOV", that's interesting... I've only ever used .AVI or .MOV; .AVI is the standard Windows video format, and .MOV is the standard Mac video format.

Could be that .MOV is Quicktime for Mac and QYMOV is Windows, just guessing. xD
I dunno, whatever...so I'm guessing AVI is the best choice... :c

Certain .avi encoders are uncompressed, so the file size can get pretty huge... but the quality is also very high.
