So, I'm presuming that Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and along with it Dark Cloud is a good GameStop purchase? Unless you recommend something other than Dark Cloud.

I'd say that would be just dandy, personally.

Just looked at a picture of the "real" Dark Genie. He looks too demonic for our Christian family standards, he also would scare me if he was on a big screen (which he will be). So, can anybody recommend me some good games that start of a price range from $4.99 USD to a max of $9.99 USD that are for the PS2 and that can be found at GameStop (Mainly pay attention to the GameStop part, it doesn't have to be a PS2 game ).

P.S. For the record, I do have extra money. I could maybe spare a few bucks extra for a game or games.

@Mick - Super Earth Defense Force for the SNES is a decent old-school, non-PC-Engine shmup not available on the VC; if you can tolerate the graphic slowdown, that is.

I can't, but thanks for reminding me. I actually have that one...somewhere.

How about Devil May Cry?

To young or it and probably will never play it anyways.

Anything else?

I'm planning on buying WarioWare DIY Showcase soon, what should I do with the 1000 remaining points?
Note: Look at my Backloggery to see what games I already have

O_o

Is there anyway we can narrow that down a bit?

@BF98 I personally vote for Burnout 3 on that ginormous list. It's a bad@$$ racing game that involves wrecking the other drivers' cars. It's the closest thing to perfection of breaking expensive things in video games. Trust me, you'll be glad you bought it.

@BF98

Well, here's one way:

Step 1: Take out the ones you already have. You don't need doubles.

Step 2: Take out the ones you don't recognize and don't seem immediately appealing. No point in wasting your limited funds on a game you know nothing about.

Step 3: Out of the remainder, which ones seem most appealing to you? Try to narrow it down as much as you can, to a top 10 or lower.

Step 4: Here's the hard part - now is when you have to decide which game is more important to get at the moment. Which one is hardest to find? Is it on sale? will it still be here next time? Which one is cheaper? Will it be cheaper later? Is it in good condition? Which one do I want to play NOW? Is it part of a series I already have? Which one is most unique? Do I know anybody else who has this game? Did they like it or not like it, and why?
If you need help, feel free to ask here.

This is just the method I usually use to make my decisions, and it always works for me. Of course, your results may vary, and whether or not you want to use it is up to you.

You could also Go to the store and go with your gut, Ask an employee for recommendations, or just be a robot and buy what we tell you to. Either way, the choice is yours. Just remember: no one knows more about what games you'll like more than you. Don't doubt yourself or your decisions. Just get what you want and enjoy it. So long as you enjoy it, it'll be worth it.

@Mickeymac I might use that last method for the upcoming games in the next two months. Thanks for sharing that technique!

Your welcome...wait, do you mean Step 4 or the robot part? I mean, either one'll work...I'm just curious.

@Mickeymac The fourth step. I'm pretty sure I don't want to be a robot.

Pastry

I want a good puzzle game for the WiiWare that's 800 points or under. Should I buy:
Rubiks: Rush
The Magic Obelisk
or
Art of Balance

Are there any other good puzzlers?

Those are true words of wisdom, and exactly what I am going to do. The guys at the GameStop treat me like a friend, so it probably will be easier for me

Does anyone have any experience with the Star Wars: Battlefront game on the DS/PSP? If there is more than one, I mean the recent one. I've heard that it is a lot better on PSP, but since I don't have a PSP, I was wondering if the DS version is any good.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I saw that Gamestop lowered the price on the PSP and DS versions to $20. I thought about getting the DS version but I'm saving my money for other games.

I've only played the demo of the most recent one, but it's pretty good. Much better than the last one. None of them are as good as their console counterparts gameplay-wise, though, but they do offer a lot of variety and choice, as well as some better weapons.
