Which is the better version of Chrono Trigger, the PS1 Version, or the SNES version? How does the choice system work, I know they are multiple endings, but very little beyond that. How frequent are they, and what kind of choices are they? Good or evil? The wisest decision? A mix?

There's no morality as far as I know in Chrono Trigger. We're still talking about an SNES game here. I've only gotten one ending, but I think there are 14? I know some of them depend on little decisions you make in the story, or who you bring to the Final Boss fight, or when you fight the final boss (the last two thirds of the game are technically optional).

The DS version has a more accurate translation, but I've heard it said that it lacks the charm of the SNES version..

It's the SNES version with the option for the Animated Cutscenes and arranged music from the PSOne version, and an adjustable interface. Literally the only downside is that there are added side quests that aren't really worth the effort, but they're still completely optional side quests.

Does Chrono Cross advance the choice system at all? I think my interest might be waining for the games if not.

Currently playing: Rune Factory 4, Batman: Arkham Origins (new game plus), Valkria Chronicles, and Uncharted 3.

Chrono Cross uses the choice system more effectively, yes, perhaps too well. The game can be a completionist's nightmare at times, but if you explore a lot you'll be heavily rewarded. Overall though, the choices in the game are closer to something like Mass Effect (where every action has a consequence) than any other old game I've encountered. CC can very much be described as a game about choice.

Okay, so I have 500 Wii Points left, and I just want to get rid of them before the Wii shop channel is, eventually, shut down. I don't want any game that is already on the Wii U eShop, and I already own NES Final Fantasy. WiiWare or Virtual console games are welcome.

I miss the Chrono series, and I wish Final Fantasy was back with Nintendo...
Yeah, guitars are cool.

It may be too late, but you do know that nintendo shutting down the wifi stuff means the Wii shop will still work, right?

Why are the Disney treasures dvds so damn expensive? I realy want some wich ist not released in Norway, as I like Disney. Its riddicolous that they choose to release Mickey Mouse clubhouse over Bonkers or Song of the south.

Should I buy moon spinners?

I am from Norway. Pleas have in mind my english might not be the best. but I am trying ;)

What are some underrated cartoons you guys think need more exposure?

Here are mine.
Untitled
Anyone who likes superheros NEEDS to watch Spectacular Spider-man. It's the best the Spider-man franchise has ever been at, and that includes Spider-man 2 the film.

Untitled
Also, "The Batman" is a really entertaining show that got overlooked because it lived in the shadow of the Batman TAS and other DC Animated Universe shows. I'll be the first to admit that the art style is _awful-, but you get used to it, and it tackle some decently mature subject matter.

@CanisWolfred
Why not split this topic back up? I think trying to discuss recommendations for everything in the world can get really hairy. I think having a separate recommendation topic for Games, Movies, TV, etc. wouldn't be as messy.

I'm planning on ordering a Vita later today. Any suggestions as to what games I should order with it? I like RPGs and story-driven games the most, but I'm willing to try other games if they're considered must-haves.

EDIT: Feel free to recommend Japan-only games as well, as I'm looking into importing some games.

@Turnip - Danganronpa, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Persona 4: The Golden, Dragon's Crown, and Gravity Rush all come to mind. Could probably come up with a few more later.

@CanisWolfred - Gravity Rush and Ys: MoC look like they're going to be insta-buys for me; I've watched a LP of Danganronpa, so I doubt I'll be purchasing that one, and Dragon's Crown looks like something I may buy later down the road. Thanks for the suggestions!

@Captain_Toad I remember hearing about Tearaway awhile ago, and it looked awesome. I'll definitely be picking that one up; thanks for reminding me!

Any other suggestions are welcome. :p

Chun Li is a cute character for an interpol officer.

I like the movie Independance Day because of Will Smith.

Titanic was a pretty sad movie.

Is there anything i might need to know about the Crazy Taxi port? I asked my friend about Sonic Adventure. He failed to tell me about the fact that the game wasn't completely full screen.

I can't tell you much more than they do, but yeah, it's a good port for the most part.

NSMB2 and Legp City Undercover I'd only recommend if you're a big platformer fan with nothing else to play on your 3DS. They aren't bad, but they aren't as good as they could be.

Then again, Tomodachi and Kirby are games that lack challenge. If you're fine with that, you might just enjoy them a lot.
