Once like for 2 min on 1 layer not even that probly
Then get Star Fox 64. I normally don't recommend ports, but SF64 is a game that must be played, and if you're going to get one version, it might as well be the best version.
I have $20 on PSN and I can't decide between getting 3rd Birthday for $20 or Chrono Cross for $10 and something else. I only have a PSP.
Dpends on What your expectations are. From What I'm told, 3rd Birthday is pretty disappointing - the bosses take forever to take down, and the story is confusing as hell. It also doesn't play much like the previous Parasite Eve games. Chrono Cross also isn't much of a Chrono Trigger sequel, wehich disappointed many people back in the day.
Personally, I'd go with Chrono Cross and something else. While it's not the most solid game in the world, I am very curious about it, and I'd like to support S-E actually rereleasing the classics we've wanted for some time now for an affordable price, whereas nothing people do now will really change S-E's mind about Parasite Eve or reviving older series in general.
Not to mention getting two cheaper games is less of a risk than getting one more expensive game.
Plus, if the second game you get is only $6, you won't have to worry about tax.
@mickeymac Does this mean you're back or was that just a one-off? I like the look of Eternal darkness but I've had some of the best (apparently they are) sanity effects and scary moments spoiled. Would it still be worth getting?

Yeah, I ended up getting The 3rd Birthday. I was tired of waiting for a response. I decided that I wanted to try something different. When it's all said and done, I really enjoyed it. Yeah, the story is on the verfe of being incomprehensible, but it's one of the most original 3rd person shooters I've ever played. Also, I found the boss fights to be the perfect length (except for the last two.) Definitely happy with my purchase.
Best thread ever

Surprised to see no one has any questions yet. Usually with all the sales going on, this thread is at least somewhat active.
Anywho, I accidently ordered 999 along with the Limited Edition of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in The Sky. If I return 999, I have to return the other game as well, so I'm wondering if I should just keep it. I'm not a big fan of reading (I've gone over a year without even looking at a book before), but I do like Room escape puzzles. What do you guys think?

Keep it. It was the game that made me like adventure games. I beat it in 3 days, but that took me 23 HOURS. I can't remember a time I was so absorbed in a video game. And if you don't like it, then you could gift it to someone who likes those kinds of games.

Seeing as you're getting a limited addition version of something you want and a game that I've heard universally good things about I say stay with the deal. If the game is a genre you like but has a ton of text it can be a good motivation to read. How else are you going to increase your vocabulary?
Also, I can clearly see this is a game recommendation thread but, Mickeymac, do you happen to know if the bandai replica figures are any good? Like, are they strong, have easy to remove pieces, and as detailed as pictures make them look? I'm looking at a Metabee one but I don't know if I should put down $40 on it right now.
Anybody know of any good black friday deals on Cave Story 3D or Xbox 360 wired/wireless controllers (I need it to work with PC)? also wiimote chargers and 3ds prepaid cards
@retro_on_theGo - I haven't gotten a figurine in years, but Bandai is usually pretty good with making quality stuff. Just took a quick look at the picture of what you're talking about, and it doesn't look like they're using cheap material or whatnot. I your call if you want to put down $40, but it sounds like a fair price to me.

NIS is having a sale on Monday on their store, CS3D should be on sale as well. And Point cards usually go on sale on Cyber Monday, too.
