I'm gonna share something with y'all right now. Back then, I didn't just play many video games a lot, but I also saw many movies (a lot). And those movies were not just from Disney. Many others were from different movie producers, and those movies I'm gonna name right now have all one thing in common [which I'll talk about after the list ends]:

  • Anastasia (20th Century Fox)
  • Thumbelina (Warner Bros)
  • A Troll in Central Park (Warner Bros)
  • The Black Cauldron (Disney)
  • The King and I (Warner Bros)
  • Quest for Camelot (Warner Bros)
  • The Swan Princess (Nest Productions)
  • The Swan Princess 2 (Nest Productions)
  • The Swan Princess 3 (Nest Productions)
  • The Magic Voyage (Hemdale Productions)
  • The Secret of NIMH (MGM Productions)

There are more, but I don't want to bore anyone with a tremendous list. Anyway, the one thing these movies have in common is that they are all underrated or obscure. It's very surprising to me to have found out all this out from Wikipedia because when I was little I watched these movies many times, and I loved them all to no end. Upon rewatching some of these movies after a long time, I find that they're not as great as I had initially thought, but I still find them enjoyable to watch every once in a while. I had looked up that most of these movies were either selling poorly or were not well received by critics (well, except Anastasia). I cannot for the life of me understand why that is; maybe I just don't know what these critics are looking for in a movie. "Underrated" is the word I'd use to describe these nostalgic cartoon movies.

That movie is the absolute worst movie I have ever seen.

Really? I thought that movie was horrible. The racing scenes were awesome though but I had no idea what was going on half the time.
Napoleon Dynamite was seriously underrated. It's so funny.

Speed Racer wasn't a good movie..but I thought it was fun overall.

I think that Persepolis is a very very underrated movie. Hardly anyone watched it and is a great animated movie.

Some people say Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is a bad and boring movie. I don't get that, since me and my mother enjoyed watching it in theatres, and at home.
Oh, yes, and I agree, Nacho Libre is hysterical, especially when Jack Black sings that song to Encarnacion!

Napolean Dynamite was a fad that sucked absolute a**. It wasn't even funny, I despise this movie with a passion.

For movies actually relevant to the topic The Man From Earth is actually a very good movie. The entire movie practically takes place in one room but keeps your interest throughout, great acting and story. One of those rare movies.

I actually really liked the movie Falling Down. Probably the only thing associated with Joel Schumacher that I'll speak highly of.

I never saw Teacher's Pet, the movie. I'm surprised Disney never thought of bringing it to Disney Channel.....after five YEARS!!!! Is it decent? 'cause I loved the show that it was based on; but I never saw the movie.

^It's a great movie. Trust me.

Also, I found that Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist was pretty underrated. It's a great movie.

Well, I can agree with you about the first one being enjoyable (good might be a stretch), but the second one killed a piece of me.

I did enjoy the first Mortal Kombat movie but to be honest it was nothing spectacular. There are a ton of movies underrated. I just cannot think of one at the moment

Deja Vu with Denzel Washington. Such a fantastic movie, but they never advertised for it so no one ever saw it. If you like Sci-Fi or action movies this is a must see.
