Jet set Radio is not underrated at all where did you come to that conclusion.
It is a Sega franchise not named Sonic and it was on the Dreamcast. An underrated game console
Because the Dreamcast doesn't have a loyal fanbase to this day that's kept it alive in people's consciiousness, unlike the Jaguar, 3DO, N-Gage, Neo Geo Pocket, Wonderswan, Gizmondo, digiBlast
...oh wait.

I was gonna reply but it seems Canis has pretty much said what I was thinking.
Let's just agree to disagree. Anyway. This game gets no respect while Mahvel gets all the glory. not dissing Marvel vs. Capcom btw those are great fighting games. just that, this doesn't get any attention.

I can't tell you how much disdain I have for Pokemon just for the single fact that it killed what little interest the market had for SNK's affordable and awesome handheld. Aside from the Vita, the NGPC has one of the best fighting game selections for a handheld. Also am the proud owner of the Ultra rare and obscure Mega man game (which is basicaly a collection of the 2 MM arcade games). That and the Analogue stick had a great "click" to it.
Also, you liked the NGage? Sure there were a few gems, but the overall built of the system was bad for both playing games and using as a cellphone... at least for the OG model, can't say the same for the QD model though. I'd rank it as good as the Virtual boy, which at least had a few stand out titles that were awesome and a Controller that felt nice.

WHAT!?!??!?! I agree that was the most awesome fighting game on the Wii but that's the catch, almost everyone LOVED that game!
deserving of more attention? yes, but deserving more attention isn't being underrated

This got really good reviews the only reasons it didn't do so well were that:
1) Tatsunoko is really obscure in the West whereas Marvel is super populay
2) Wii wasn't know for fighting games
3) Nintendo/Capcom quietly released it in west without making a big deal

I think good games that didn't get as much attention that i think it deserves counts as underrated. That is how i see things.

ok let's disagree, just making a point that underrated means "it deserved a better rating" but since english isn't my native language I might as well be the wrong one!

http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/9/96447/2379438-... California Speed. Never got the hate for it. I mean i liked the tracks in the game. I thought is was a fun racing game. My only issue was the length of the tracks, which go on for a long time.

No, N-Gage sucked. I remember trying it at a kiosk once and it was very uncomfortable to use. My point was that the Dreamcast has a large fanbase that most "failed" consoles don't have. The Neo Geo Pocket is a great console with some real gems, but even with @Neo-geoFan around promoting the thing, I've found it hard to find others who care about it (even on retro sites...). The Dreamcast, however...just look at the threads here and on PushSquare, there are lots of people who know and like the console. Even going by the OP's now-set definition, I still don't think it counts as underrated.
I mean, even back in the day, it was a console that the media was pushing hard as basically the savior of video games. I don't think there are many consoles with such a legacy like the Dreamcast.
The N-Gage doesn't downright "suck". Sure, it doesn't have a lot of games, and quite a few of them are pretty bad, but it also has quite a few GREAT games.

No N-Gage really did suck, one of the older kids around my neighborhood at the time had one most games were downright unplayable on the thing.
I remember liking this game as a kid. I had the ps2 version to be exact. That is the one people hate. Though, i'm sure if revisited it, i might have a different opinion of it.
Am I the only person here who wasn't a big fan of Sonic Heroes?
I guess it's not a bad game, but I'm surprised at the number of people on this thread (and this site in general), that seem to have a more positive view on it than I do.
Then again, I played it right after coming off of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, so maybe it was just underwhelming in direct comparison?
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Sonic Heroes is a decent game, but it lacked polish in every area. I enjoyed playing as Sonic and Amy, but Shadow's levels became half-baked very quickly, and Team Chaotix's whole story mode was nearly unplayable...
