I actually kinda liked Flingsmash, even though it only got a 3/10. Wasn't the best, but still underrated. I would've given it a good 6 or 7 out of 10.
Flingsmash didn't get the rating it deserved, not great, but still worth a play!
As for underrated wii games, ANNO was great fun, quite the catch on ebay.
I never got any friends to play four swords on gamecube with me, did anyone get to fully enjoy the multiplayer?

@TysonQ7 NLife gave it a 9/10, but I was only partly talking about that anyway. It just doesn't seem as if there are that many people that play it all the time, try to get all the achievements, etc.
Metroid Prime Hunters
Metroid Other M
Star Fox Command
Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Metroid
Chibi-Robo Park Patrol
Dementium
Some off the top of my head, and I never thought games like Xenoblade Chronicles or Kid Icarus Uprising were underrated. Xenoblade Chronicles is highly acclaimed and Uprising to me is overrated.

Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom ( PS2, Xbox, GameCube) and The Spongebob Squarepants Movie ( PS2, GameCube, Xbox). Both of these games are developed by Heavy Iron Studios ( they're working on porting Epic Mickey 2 to the Wii U right now). Both of them have a Banjo Kazooie like game play style. With Golden Spatulas opening up new levels, with other collected items ( like Patrick's socks in BFBB) that get you more Gold Spatulas. I personally think Battle For Bikini Bottom is better. It also has some unique music you wouldn't think to find in a Spongebob product
The GBA version of the Movie game is by WayForward, which is also worth a look.
I just thought of one. It's a game called Fate/Extra. It's a dungeon crawler on PSP that takes place in the Fate/Stay universe, but not in the traditional sense. It has some really wonky battle mechanics (random rock-paper-scissors, basically). I get why it isn't rated too well, but I enjoyed it for what it was, and really liked the story.
Also, I liked Battle For Bikini Bottom as well, like Firejonie said. It's a darn good game. Granted, I don't know if I'd call it underated. It and it's sequels were all pretty well recieved critic and sales wise.
Best thread ever

I think Kirby,Metroid,Star Fox,and Pikmin are far underrated by the "new " generation. It's just all about Mario to kids now!

I just thought of one, Animal Crossing. People look at it and dismiss it as a game for girls or children, but really it's a great series.
i LOVE the gamecube Animal Crossing but the newer ones don't have enough changes to make me an addicted fan again hoping for the 3ds animal crossing to change that
The original and DS ones were great, and I suspect the 3DS one'll be the best of all. Still it's an underratted series. People judge that game without playing it.

yeah, those are some of the best examples of the games that have no right to be as good as they are. Like they are legitimately good, worthwhile 3d platformer. More so the first one but they're both good. I had the Rocket Power game from like a year earlier too and that was pretty decent IIRC (and a plot too dumb even for a platformer). The quality of the music almost confuses me.
Now there are the obvious Little King's Story, Beyond Good and Evil, Ristar, etc examples that should have sold more but just in terms of games that aren't critically or fan loved.
-Bomberman 64 and Bomberman Generation. I don't know how much Generation holds up since I haven't played it since 2003 but I love 64. No nostalgia bias since I never cared about the game growing up. But playing it again, it is a deceptively simple and short game but getting to the final level and 100%, yeah good luck with that. Getting those gold cards will take you a long time. Between all the unique attacks on bosses and minibosses you have to find out, to some of the clever hidden areas and use of bomb jumping, it's really a very clever little game. Not to mention while getting the gold cards (or even beating the level for the 3rd stage) is like the Bomberman equivalent of a difficult Mario romhack (not even kidding), it is kinda ingenius for the same reasons.
-Glover. This is a poor, blocky, bandwagon-jumping 3d platformer where the entire game is an escort mission made by developers who never made anything worthwhile. ...HOW IS IT SO GOOD?! They really just made an incredibly fun game here, despite its issues.
-Xenoblade Chronicles. Yeah probably not that much, but I still demand more money and hype for this game. FOREVER.
-Red Faction Guerrila. This game is really, really good and people know that. But maybe I'm just not on the right parts of the internet, but I never hear anyone discuss this game. Like...ever. It deserves to be really, because just destroying everything in this open world game and all the missions based around that while simultaneously still being a great open world "fight the man" game, loved it. Shame there aren't more parts where you explore random ruins that you can destroy. And that I never finished it.
-Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Ok I'm not the best at this. Just wanna say this game is probably more impressive than 2 just for the amount of quality content for the amount of time they probably had to make this game.
-Astro Boy Omega Factor. Here's another game most people don't talk about. I think I'm just cheating my own requirements for this list since at least some critics really loved this game but whatever. I honestly like this more than almost any other Treasure game. Maybe because it's a great story based off of a classic anime instead of a dumb story trying to be an anime (looking at you Sin and Punishment). But this is really Treasure at their best, combining shoot em up and beat em up into a great, fun as heck game with epic bosses, tons of cool characters and some of the most clever replayability in any game.
-Kirby's Dream Course. Kirby golf is honestly more fun than Mario golf.
-Megaman Legends. Yeah it has a cult fanbase, but a lot of people sadly don't care about the game or think it's just ok or god forbid isn't Megaman NES again. Shame as it's a 3d Zelda "ripoff", which means it's probably awesome (note: it is).
-Peter Jackson's King Kong THE GAME. Two words. Michel Ancel.
