Yeah this. You're right, it is very sad that people still don't understand how awful plagurism is.
BTW I'm pretty sure I first saw this one years ago. It reads very much like those "inspirational" chain e-mails that were popular in the early days of 56K Internet.
I think it should've ended with a homeless person eating Ugly and saying "It's delicious!" Then the moral of the story could have been, "Never judge a book by its cover, the inside is what taste the best."
