Yeah, what @the_shpydar said, but them declaring bankruptcy at all means they are most likely on the way out, even if it is Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I usually bought games at Toys R Us since it's right by my house, but lately I've been picking up games when grocery shopping at Target, so I can't say I'm too upset by this. And for anyone who wants to know why this happened, a YouTuber I watch named Company Man made a good video explaining it. I'm not very good with all this legal and economic jargon.

I have nothing but fond memories of visiting Toys R Us. That's where I preordered Ocarina of Time back in the day. I still have the fliers I got in the mail from TRU for it.
Toys R Us was such a amazing place to go to as a kid in the 80's/90's especially for buying video games.
It was such a thrill going down the gaming aisle where they had tickets for each game in plastic sleeves. You would take a ticket out go to the register and pay for it. The cashier would then give you the ticket back with a recipt and then you would take it to this booth and and hand it to the employee. Moments later the employee would hand you your game. It was so epic to an 8 year old.
