So, what's everyone watching now on TV, and what's everyone's favourite shows? I know that this is a bit vague and open-ended, but hopefully it will provide some good discussion
NOTE: Do not post spoilers under any circumstances. If you want to talk about TV shows in a discussion that will involve spoilers, start a discussion of your own, and clearly state "SPOILERS" in the title.
Anyways: I'm watching Lost online, and I absolutely love it! I'm also watching back my DVD's of The Office, and watching My Name Is Earl and Reno 911 on the telly.
I'm not much of a TV watcher. Excluding cartoons from my youth, I could count the number of TV shows I like on one hand (Flying Circus, Seinfeld, Super Milk Chan, Firefly, Scrubs). But fortunately one of those shows isn't quite done yet, so I'm still watching Scrubs and eagerly awaiting each of the few remaining episodes.
I also just started watching Castle due to Nathan Fillion (Malcom Reynolds in Firefly and Serenity) playing the lead role in it. It's not the greatest show ever, and not something I'd ever get on DVD, but it's a decent detective show with some good laughs. I think it has potential to be a lot better, too, so I'm keeping an eye on it.
I generally end up watching both shows online at ABC's website since being at home and remembering to put the TV on at a certain time is really too much to ask of me.
Oh, and I used to watch The Office (USA version) when it played before Scrubs. I liked it enough, but I wasn't crazy about it. Same way I feel about Castle, really. If I miss an episode of either, oh well.
@Adam: I've been wanting to try Firefly for a while now, but after one of my favourite US dramas (The Riches) was cancelled last year with several loose ends, I am a bit cautious to try out Ff, since that was also cancelled. Would you say that Firefly leaves you on a cliffhanger at the end, because if so, I'll avoid buying it and add it to my rental list instead.
WWE Raw and Smackdown Top Gear on BBCA (i love that show so hard ) Hell's Kitchen (it's had some twists this season :3) Robot Chicken Metalocalypse (can't wait for next season) Solitary x.0 (it's on Fox Reality Channel, and damn is it a good show; can't wait for next season on that either)

I like animation be it adult like Family Guy and South Park to kids shows like Spongebob and Billy & Mandy, also watch classics like Cheers, Frazier and Taxi, can't stand reality TV but Hulk Hogans CCW was fun,
As for DVD'ds I tend to buy animations both American comedies and anime, with Ghibli movies being a particular favourite, if I had to pick a particular favourite I think I would go with Princess Mononoke, but My Neighbour Totoro and Grave of the Fireflies are also great movies, non Ghibli movies classic Akira would be one another would have to be the over the top madness of Dead Leaves, even has a Mr Driller like character, well sort of.
@Blaze: I like Studio Ghibli as well, although my favourite is Spirited Away. Princess Mononoke was too weird for me (like the guy who shot someone's head straight off with an arrow), and Grave of the Fireflies felt like it didn't belong as an animated film. I haven't seen My Neighbour Totoro though, but I'm planning on getting around to it at some point soon.
@Wiiloveit No, there's no cliffhanger at the end of Firefly. There's no sense of conclusion either, but that doesn't bother me in episodic stories. Plus, they later made the film Serenity which is also good and wraps up the series nicely, though it unfortunately does skip some things. Two characters somewhere between the TV series and the movie leave the ship, but they are still involved in the story (it's not like they just disappear). So the only real complaint to be had is that there is clearly more story to be told in between, but it's not necessary. In fact, I saw the movie first, and I followed along fine.
@Hobbes: did you catch last week's new House? it really ticked me off, to be honest.

i gotta wait 'til it hits the internets... the WWE Draft was tonight, and it was a three-hour special (so Raw started at 8 instead of 9).

@Terranigma: You live in the UK, right? Tales from Earthsea is showing Thursday 16 April (tomorrow) at 6:45pm on Film4.
Oh - and one program that I love to watch that I forgot about earlier is Desperate Housewives. I don't know why... I just love it! (no, I'm not homosexual, btw )
