5) Community: I dunno about this one. Some episodes totally click, others feel strange. Maybe that's just me though.
4) The Office (US): I feel like the US version sacrifices character development for easy laughs. And I'm totally ok with that - the early seasons are some of the funniest things I've ever seen.
3) Flight of the Conchords: Really short musical comedy with poor people. It's totally all over the place in terms of humour, which makes it wonderful viewing.
2) How I Met Your Mother: I agree with Geonjaha here, the early seasons were awesome and fresh. The frenetic cutting and heavy plot development felt like the show was a worthwhile watch. And then it got a little too long for its own good.
1) Friends: Infinitely rewatchable and lots of fun. The drama and continuity isn't too good, but nobody watches sitcoms for those things anyway :p

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

I used to watch a lot of sitcoms when I was growing up, and by now I've come to the conclusion that 99% of them are just awful, and easily the most hollow entertainment on Television. Here are the only exceptions I could think of:

1. Scrubs
2. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
3. Flight of the Concords?

Not sure about that last one, but whatever. I know there was a third. That'll be the placeholder unless I think of a better one.

EDIT: BTW, I forgot about Spider-Man 2 on the PS2 in my previous post. That game was incredible, and I don't think there were many games like it at the time.

Some great answers today! Here's mine:

5. Mr. Belvedere
4. Last Man Standing
3. Roseanne
2. Boy Meets World
1. the Big Bang Theory

This is mainly stuff I've seen somewhat recently. Used to like ALF, the Andy Griffith Show, Home Improvement, and more as well, but it's been so long since I've seen them I don't know how well they'd hold up for me personally.

Just my favorites that are still airing. Including shows that are not currently in production would make a top 5 next-to-impossible for me.

5. The Office (US)
4. Raising Hope (starts off girly but then it focused on comedy also so many My Name is Earl References)
3. How I met your mother ( LOL Robin Sparkles)
2. My Name is Earl (only cuz it got cancelled after 4 seasons and it left me hanging)
1. Modern Family ( this show is the most hilarious thing ever I did not expect it to be this funny and I thought it'd be too much of a family like show but it's not, it's my favorite right now)

Other Notable Mentions:
Friends (did not grow up watching Friends and I'm barely getting into it so yeah)
Drake and Josh / iCarly (actually funny for kids shows)
Arrested Development (the new season was terrible and kinda turned me off)
Community (kind of a roller coaster with me at time the highs are high and the lows are low)
Big Bang Theory (loved it but then I noticed that the laugh track NEVER stops they laugh over anything)
Workaholics (can be a little too raunchy for me at times)

Some great answers today! Here's mine:

5. UFO - It's simply fun flying around with great stability, and tackling enemies with one of it's three stages of attacks. Unfortunately, it is rare, and you always seem to lose it quick as well (often times it's restricted to one area it seems, and thus it's not higher on the list).

4. Smash - as the name might suggest, this gives Kirby his SSB moveset, which is both very cool, and versatile (with both cutting & hammer attacks present, there's no obstacle this ability can't handle).

3. Sword - this has been a favorite of mine for a very long time. It's always fun slicing up enemies with a sword, and in newer games, you can even do a bada** little combo if you keep attacking repeatedly. IMO, it's the only way to go fighting Meta Knight (beat him at his own game), and the green cap you get with it is a nice nod to Link (I'm assuming).

2. Fighter - Like Smash, this is another one that gives you a wide moveset, and while it may not be as versatile as the former, it's simply fun pounding through enemy after enemy, and you can even fire little ki blasts (Hadouken!).

1. Spark - This one is my best friend, and I usually immediately ditch whatever I have when it becomes available. It's both good for offensive and defensive purposes, and is perfect for just standing right next to a boss and letting them have it. Not to mention Kirby get's an awesome looking plasma hairdo whenever he gets it (in the newer games).

Just finished up Amazing Mirror, so I figured that's a good enough reason to keep the theme going for an extra day.
