What are your favorite video game controllers? Mine are:

1. Classic Controller Pro
2. Dual Shock 2 (just a tiny bit worse than CC pro)
3. Gamecube controller/Wavebird (perfect design but analog sticks loosen too fast)
4. Xbox 360 controller
5. Wii remote (+ nunchuk)

No particular order:

SNES pad
PS2 Dualshock
Saturn controller
Xbox 360 pad
Original Xbox "Duke" controller. (I know I'm the odd man out on this one)

The Wiimote/chuck gets sixth place, if there is one.

Honorable mentions: The Wii remote and Nunchuk for games like The Force Unleashed and RE4, The Sega Genesis 6 button controller, and as odd as it sounds the Virtual Boy controller (The only good thing about that system IMO).

SpentAllMyTokens

1) Dreamcast (VMU FTW)
2) Gamecube
3) Wiimote+Nunchuck (This is really my top choice for many games, but seeing as it sucks for others - I'm looking at you SSBB, I had to drop it down.
4) N64 (Would be above GC if the Analog stick didn't shed)
5) Genesis 6 button.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

Well, I guess my favs are the one's I've had for the most part:
1. Wiimote (or Wiimote and nunchuck in whatever formation) Love my Wii!
2. Wavebird Wireless Gamecube (rock $@#%ing solid! wireless control)
3. Playstation One (Yeah, I know the 2 is probably better but I had the first one)
4. SNES (I actually have a cool USB version for playing games on my computer now)
5. NES (just to cleanse the pallet. It's where it all started: the ritz cracker upon which all future toppings would be piled ; >)
Runner up: The Atari Joystick (Actually, these were quite cheap and broke easily. My dad actually ripped the joystick right off the base trying to beat me at space invaders one night! Still one of my favorite gaming memories : > It was cheap but it's where the madness really began.Years before Nintendo Sgt. Peppered our gaming experience Atari put these controllers in our hands and said, "Have Fun!" And we did ; >)
