Do cartoon and 3D movies count? 'cause if they do, here are my choices: 5. uhhhhhhh..... 4. The Christmas Carol (Jim Carrey) 3. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1998 version) 2. The Polar Express - I hope I'm not the only one who likes it 1. Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas [I hope I don't get into arguments about it]
Okay, I admit my list is kinda inferior compared to the others, and I vaguely recall watching Muppet's Christmas Carol. I should watch it again, I have the tape. But should I do it in November...?
It is a bit early, but come December these will be my first 5 DVDs booted up:
Scrooged
Nightmare Before Christmas
Gremlins
Elf
…. And yep, The Muppet Christmas Carol
Nt. Special mention goes out to It’s a Wonderful Life
I am passionate about retro gaming, from antiquated consoles to the continuation of classics. Obviously I love PSone, and PS2 retro games. I blast my ears to breakneck melodic punk, gruff vocals and nimble alternative guitar hooks.
@StarBoy91 and @Ricardo91 I really like The Polar Express, but its real life human 'performance capture' technology is one of the worst examples of the uncanny valley I have seen, the freaky looking faces actually put me off watching it. The elves are particularly disturbing, but the ice sliding steam locomotive sequence is awesome.

Yeah, I hate that style too, and in this movie it was especially bad. The only time that style was even remotely tolerable was in Beowulf. The movie itself was actually pretty good though.
@Chicken. I don't know. I just consider them to be just christmas specials and not full-fledged movies, since they were never released in theaters (at least as far as I'm concerned).
Only need two -- A Christmas Story (every year, i have one of my TVs continuously showing the 24-hour marathon) and the almighty Jingle all the Way!
I'd certainly include It's A Wonderful Life (a PHENOMENAL film; i'm also a big Jimmy Stewart fan in general), but i don't really consider that a Christmas movie despite the clear association (barely half of the film takes place during Christmas).
And not a movie, but have to throw in the original Charlie Brown Christmas. I actually needed to buy that on DVD last year, as i got super pissed that i missed it's annual airings on ABC.
