Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Nothing else comes close.

Jesus is the only way.
It's OK to have an opinion. This ain't the Soviet Union you know.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Do cartoon and 3D movies count? 'cause if they do, here are my choices:
5. uhhhhhhh.....
4. The Christmas Carol (Jim Carrey)
3. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1998 version)
2. The Polar Express - I hope I'm not the only one who likes it
1. Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas [I hope I don't get into arguments about it]

1. Muppet Christmas Carol
no others (regardless of how good) deserve to be on the same list as this classic.

Muppet's Christmas Carol.
I always shed a tear when Beaker gives him his red scarf.

I also enjoy Scrooged a lot as well.

Okay, I admit my list is kinda inferior compared to the others, and I vaguely recall watching Muppet's Christmas Carol. I should watch it again, I have the tape. But should I do it in November...?

It is a bit early, but come December these will be my first 5 DVDs booted up:

  • Scrooged
  • Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Gremlins
  • Elf
  • …. And yep, The Muppet Christmas Carol

Nt. Special mention goes out to It’s a Wonderful Life

I am passionate about retro gaming, from antiquated consoles to the continuation of classics. Obviously I love PSone, and PS2 retro games. I blast my ears to breakneck melodic punk, gruff vocals and nimble alternative guitar hooks.

Outrunner

No one likes How the Grinch Stole Christmas?

I love you, Corbie. I wouldn't want you to go anywhere not knowing that.

EDIT: Oh, also, has nobody mentioned A Charlie Brown Christmas? That damned tree gets me every time...

A Muppets Christmas Carol
The Santa Clause
Miracle on 34th Street (although I haven't watched it in at least 10 years)
Nightmare before Christmas

The new Jim Carrey Christmas Carol film looks decent too.

@The chicken. I would've mentioned Charlie Brown's Christmas, but it's not a movie.

It's as much a movie as the (original) Grinch, or Emmet Otter!

@StarBoy91 and @Ricardo91 I really like The Polar Express, but its real life human 'performance capture' technology is one of the worst examples of the uncanny valley I have seen, the freaky looking faces actually put me off watching it. The elves are particularly disturbing, but the ice sliding steam locomotive sequence is awesome.

Yeah, I hate that style too, and in this movie it was especially bad. The only time that style was even remotely tolerable was in Beowulf. The movie itself was actually pretty good though.

@Chicken. I don't know. I just consider them to be just christmas specials and not full-fledged movies, since they were never released in theaters (at least as far as I'm concerned).

I don't like 3D movies ever, except for the first Toy Story of course.

Only need two -- A Christmas Story (every year, i have one of my TVs continuously showing the 24-hour marathon) and the almighty Jingle all the Way!

I'd certainly include It's A Wonderful Life (a PHENOMENAL film; i'm also a big Jimmy Stewart fan in general), but i don't really consider that a Christmas movie despite the clear association (barely half of the film takes place during Christmas).

And not a movie, but have to throw in the original Charlie Brown Christmas. I actually needed to buy that on DVD last year, as i got super pissed that i missed it's annual airings on ABC.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.
