Anyone been watching Toonami on Saturday night? Hits 12PM EST until 6PM. 6 hours of anime. They have shows such as Tenchi, Deadman Wonderland, Samurai 7, Bleach, etc. They play a season and then switch to a different show, etc. I have always enjoyed watching anime, but never had a huge collection or seen a lot of stuff, so this helps me watch some new things. I usually find myself watching this on Sat nights while playing my 3DS XL. Fire Emblem tonight with it, of course.
RR529 (and sometimes kkslider) has been keeping us updated in the Anime/Manga thread. Sounds like a good time, but I can't really stay up past 11 to watch any of it.
I watch it as long as I possibly can. I really enjoyed Casshern Sins & Deadman Wonderland. And I look forward to the final episode of Samurai 7 tonight!
I'm sure this'll eventually be redirected to the Anime/Manga forum, but hey, you can't have enough Toonami!
As for the current lineup, I always look forward to Bleach, Naruto, ThunderCats (surprisingly), Eureka 7, & Tenchi Muyo GXP (so bad it's good). I'll also try to catch Cowboy Bebop if it's one of my fav episodes, and I always watch the first InuYasha of the night for nostalgia's sake. I'm not all that into Samurai 7, but I'll watch the finale tonight.
I never did care for Casshern, but I loved Deadman Wonderland.

Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Watching it right now as well, while playing some Fire Emblem. Friend Code: 1118-0223-8931 — post yours!
I apologize if I put this in the wrong spot — I did not see an anime/manga section when I went to channels. I looked again just now. How do you get to it?

Bleach - Finally getting back to the main characters! Oh, and compared to the manga, it looks like they toned down the damage inflicted upon Hyori.
Naruto - the more I watch the interactions between Naruto & Sasuke, I can't help but think of Sora & Riku from Kingdom Hearts, lol.
Soul Eater - Okay, I'm really trying hard not to negatively judge action shows based on extremely quirky character designs & abilities, but the Sun & Moon in this show (as well as the extremely stereotypical witch and her "Halloween Canon") are really pushing me to my limits (oh, and this has the most ridiculous incarnation of the Grim Reaper I have ever seen). Despite all that though, the animation itself & the action were absolutely sublime. Definitely going to keep watching if they're able to keep that up!
ThunderCats - It's like they try their hardest to take this series away from it's cheezy origins as best they can (and usually do a pretty good job of doing so), but then they go ahead and include a Mt. Plundarr (oh, it sounds like plunder. Not corny at all...). I'm still enjoying this series for what it it is, but some of their decisions seem to conflict.
Sym-Bionic Titan - I absolutely adore how stereotypically "trigger happy military dude" they make general Steel. I can't help but laugh whenever he speaks. Too bad the Hammer got thrashed though, because it was pretty awesome.
Eureka 7 - Did I ever mention how much I am loving this show? The confrontation between Charles & Ray and the Gekko was pretty darn epic.
Tenchi Muyo! GXP - This episode was focused on Fuku, and had a couple of cameos from the original Tenchi, so it was actually pretty enjoyable.

The quirkiness is where the show shines brightest, IMO. Granted, everything except the sun and the moon are a little different-looking from the manga, so maybe you'd like that style more, but I honestly thought the manga was visually boring compared to the anime. Also, you have yet to see the B-A version of Mr. Reaper.
So are they going to replace Symbionic Titan now with a new show? It would have been nice if Adult Swim could have pushed for another season, but I'm guessing it's rating on Toonami were nothing special.
