According to my calendar, toilet paper is most expensive in the UK, being twice as costly as in Germany and France and three times more expensive than in the US. Why should that be? Random thoughts.

Well, the economy is apparently expected to grow the fastest in the next year and is on the up. That's what the news said a few days ago anyway. And comparing the Househould Final Consumption Expenditure (HFCE) or household shopping across Europe for 2012 shows that France has a higher average bill than the UK for the monthly shop. Germany is only slightly lower. So why is toilet paper in particular more expensive in the UK? Is there a stealth tax for wiping one's bottom? Is it ecological because of the need for protecting sources of paper? Are manufacturing processes more stringent here? Or are we just being ripped off by big companies who get away with charging so much because we don't know any better? It's not exactly something I'd like to stop buying.
What I'd like to know, is why your calendar has the worldwide rates of toilet paper.

Look up Peter Schiff on youtube, he predicted the global economy crash a few years back, and he claims we could be in for another huge drop again some point this year or next.
With that in mind, go stock up on your toilet paper, s*** times are coming if Peter Schiff is correct.

It's one of those informative calendars that gives a fact per day. This one is all about toilet stuff. It was a gift, I did not buy it myself. I have odd friends.

i remember back in the days when i had a reason to use toilet paper.
but one day i woke up and my toilet was missing. i dont have my toilet anymore so whats the point of having toilet paper?
at least i save all that money from having to buy toilet paper so the jokes on the toilet thief.
