In order of my favorite to least favorite (in my opinion):
Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
I have yet to play the Japanese exclusive titles for obvious reasons. And yes, I do realize how late this reply is, I just got off work and had a test to study for.

I think Awakening is my favourite, followed with Sacred Stones, Radiant Dawn and Blazing Sword.

Anyway it's good to see that Awakening sold so well, so the amazing series can continue.

I really liked it too! I just cannot see the hate for it. It's a Famicom game, the characters aren't gonna be that deep for the most part. (And even then, I actually liked the characters quite a bit). The gameplay was actually really neat, and I certainly don't think the story was bad at all for Famicom. I definitely don't think it's perfect, but I cannot fathom how it could be bad, let alone terrible.

Exactly. It's just remake of the Famicom, and I enjoyed it. My guess for the hate was because they'd didn't know it was a remake, and since they were new to the one's that had support conversations.

being someone that didn't like it at first I can explain it: got it without knowing it was a remake and after playing Radiant Dawn in the Wii, so in the end I expected more than I should out of sheer ignorance, I bet the case was the same for most people that disliked it.

goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn
