Ok, time to admit all the times you made an assumption/prediction and were completely wrong about video games! Off the top of my head and I can say...
-I thought Mighty No. 9 would be at least good long after a loooot of people had given up
-I thought Keiji Inafune was 100% in the right when he left Capcom (understandable considering how Capcom spent 2011 trying to kill itself)
-I thought Dead Space was going to be the most boring yet hyped game possible
-I predicted Wii U would get 2nd place in this generation (reminder that Wii U lost to the company that nearly tried to kill used or borrowing games and we should all be sad about this for this reason alone)
-I assumed Devil's Third would be good
-I thought people complaining about Other M's story in reviews were being ridiculous and had no idea what they were talking about
-I thought Pokemon Colosseum's story would be legitimately dark and compelling
-I thought JRPGs would never sell well in the west again (outside of certain massive franchises) a few years ago.
-I thought Wind Waker SD was one of the top 3 Zelda games
-I thought Final Fantasy: The Crystal Bearer's Story would go somewhere compelling
-I thought Mario Kart 7 was remotely as good as other Mario Karts
-I thought Wind Waker SD was one of the top 3 Zelda games
-I thought Mario Kart 7 was remotely as good as other Mario Karts
I don't see how either of these are wrong. Wind Waker is an incredible game in all of its incarnations, and Mario Kart 7 is one of the best games in the series.
Like Meowpheel said, these are just cheap jabs.
As to the theme of this thread:
Like many people, when I saw the initial trailer for Super Mario 3D World, I thought it was going to be a simple HD retread of Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS.
I largely ignored Undertale when I first heard about it and assumed a lot of the vocal support for it online was a form of trolling.
I often forget Leech Seed doesn't work on Grass Pokemon.
Some of your points seem more like cheap jabs at those games than hilarious misunderstandings though.
joke's on you, I am being 100% sincere. Wind Waker was one of my favorite games when it first came out and I liked Mario Kart 7 quite a bit for the first couple of weeks I had it.
