Topic: Thread of totally awesome Netflix Instant recommendations

I think most people would end up liking which every one they watched first more and since it was the US for me it wins.

I need to sit down one day and watch EVERY EPISODE of Rugrats. They have all 10 seasons available and only time will tell when it's gone. Love that show.

I watched the US first, and was convinced that it was the greatest comedy since Seinfeld. Then I watched the UK Office
I hope I don't sound like I'm putting down the US one too much because it truly is brilliant. I just think the original did everything better, and within a more compact series of time.

Didn't think anyone would reply to that, lol. Yeah there's only 2 seasons...is there more? I heard something like they stopped making the show after that...(or stopped making American versions...)

@BellGoRiiing: FUNi probably just stopped translating it after two seasons — that show's got upwards of ten or fifteen seasons in japanese, lol, and a crapton of movies to boot. ah well, i'd hoped they'd translated more, but i guess not yet

I don't think the Nick stuff will be going anywhere. It's not like there's official means to buy the shows anymore (except for Invader Zim) and I'm sure they're all very popular so Netflix will keep renewing them for streaming.

Anyone who wants a good film should load up Devil's Advocate (if its there).

EDIT: The first four episodes were pretty funny and not that inappropriate.

I like how they've now combined seasons together into one series.

Just saw Astonishing X-Men. It's a great show but it a little short, only 6 episodes.

Nah, with very few exceptions it really doesn't get much worse than that. It does get funnier, though, so definitely try to at least watch the first few of season 2

Hey, anyone interested in starting a Netflix Movie Club? Basically, we vote on a movie to watch, and then we watch it, and we all give our thoughts on the movie. It'd be cool if we could get a tinyChat going on, and we could all watch it at the same time. It'd be fun. Anyone interested?

I'm interested, though I don't watch many R-rated movies and not a whole lot of PG-13 movies either.

@Panda Yeah, me and a few others will hopefully be able to find appropriate movies for us to watch. It'll be fun if we can get a few more people.

I have been streaming Law and Order SVU, pretty good series so far not sure why I never watched it before now. Also I had to stream Short Circuit since its been several years since I have seen it and oh yeah The goodness of Mel Gibson and Richard Donner in Maverick.

well, i'm just gonna hope that we get a couple more people before we start... but ah well. How about we do this almost every Saturday night, at 7 PM PST? We'll have a theme for each weeks choices. This week, let's go with video game movies. We could either watch The Wizard , Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, or some other video game movie you can find. any other ones?

South Park. I've streamed every episode. I even almost cried once. Matt and Trey are THAT good.
