Topic: This website redesign!

A complete failure, just like vg247's redesign.

Overall, I think it's pretty great — kudos to the team. Here are my from-the-hip observations:

-Aesthetically, I like it. It's clean. However, what's with the huge white space at the top? Is it because I'm using an ad blocker? I feel like that's perhaps where the logo should live — as of now, it's just a weird void.
-I really like the notifications on user profiles. Like some have said, I use a junk email for lots of online accounts, so it's nice to be notified when I'm actually on the site.
-The games collection feature is really neat. And thank heavens for user scores.
-Are there any plans to make further changes to the forums? I like the new look, but I feel like there's a whole lot of room for improvement (specifically, the over-segmentation — does anyone actually go to the different sections one-by-one, or do we all just look at the most recent topics, like I do?).

The comments section in news articles no longer loads on the Wii U browser...

Any way to switch back to the old format? I always used the sidebar to navigate the website and the new way is horribluh.

Now to find my sunglasses to stop this #FFFFFF from burning in my eyes.

So, um, I'm probably being blind and/or dense but where do I go to change it back to list mode?

I like the update, there's just rather an excessive amount of white space now which is kinda weird to look at...

EDIT: Yup, I was correct, found it now.

@antdickens I have noticed that there's no option to remove games from your collection anymore, once you've selected the wrong game, you're stuck with it.

Hmm, Profile banner.. Can the banner run gifs?

I've asked in another thread, but what's the max size for the banner? Want to redo mine from Twitter.

And yet we still ain't able to have pictures in our signature.

So I put a banner in my profile, but then I tried to change it to something else and it doesn't let me. Any ideas?

I have the same problem, the first image I tried is not properly displayed, but I can't change it... Oh well, I guess we just need to wait.

The last redesign took a few days to get everything in order. I'm sure this design will work out in time

At first I wasn't a fan of the redesign, but it's starting to grow on me as I play around with it more. There are a few minor issues, but I'm sure those will be ironed out in time.

...So no one knows about the banner size then? :c

Some of it is a little hard to look at but it's over all just dandy.

Took me a while to get used to the new format, but it isn't as bad as I initially thought it was. (Though can we please get an option to make the top menu stay on the top? It's pretty distracting on the desktop version)
