Paper Mario. Both are great and I generally prefer the battles in Mario & Luigi, but the overall world and characters of Paper Mario win out for me.

@MarioLover92 PlayStation 1 by far. That's an S tier console and had a considerably better library that wasn't just being carried by first party content. I can actually count more than two good third party games that weren't made by a single developer on the PlayStation compared to the N64.
