As a counterpart to my previous thread, what's the most horrible game you've ever played. Try also explain a little why is it so bad. More so, the game you choose should be a "real game" which has been actually published and sold in places, so every weird individually made PC game shouldn't count.

My vote goes to, *drum roll......
Big Rigs.........wait. I haven't actually played it, so it doesn't count. Ok, my vote goes to: Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes, for the PSone. The game looks ugly, it's grey like a dust mite in a steel mill. Textures tear uncontrollably, you can see through almost every wall and sometimes even walk through walls. The humor is... well, you know Duke. You either love it or hate it, but i found it to be mildly hilarious. Bottom line: it's bad, but i'm sure there are a lot worse games out there which i haven't had the priviledge to play.

Rugrats: The Movie for the Game Boy Color. What an unstructured mess that game is. Who's idea was it for you to lose every object you collected upon contact from the enemy?! If that happens, you have to recover the objects all over again!!! The rugrats are also slow, and the stages are large. It also doesn't help that the stage designs and enemy layouts were poorly thought-out. And the worst part of the game is that: because of all those aforementioned things I've stated, it renders the game very unplayable.
The movie was good, but the game was terrible.

To each their own

Chameleon Twist for the N64 comes to mind. It's been over a decade since I played, so I can't exactly remember what made it so terrible, but as an 11 year old I was always super willing to pretty much play whatever, and it was the first unplayable game I ever got my hands on.

I really liked Chameleon Twist. It can't have been that bad, it got a sequel, which I half enjoyed too.

Rawr!

Platypus

That's a hard one(I haven't played many bad games) maybe turok for the gamecube or spider man mysterio's menace for GBA.

Metal Morph is probably the worst I've ever played. Also, to anyone who says Fester's Quest: why don't you play it before you say it's so terrible? AVGN doesn't know everything. o:

Action 52. A complete mess from the title sequence to the end of Cheetahmen.

BedCommando

It's actually E.T. for the Atari 2600.
Read up on the games history and you'll know why. No game comes close to failing as hard.
Runner-Ups are
Superman 64
Big Rigs

Bobpie

E.T. wasn't the only game that was responsible for the market crash.

The Pie O' Bob be watching you...

BedCommando

Never said it was. Though it still remains the worst game of all time, considering the extreme actions taken against it (ie. the landfill).

StuffyStuff

The worst games I've ever played are Spider Man and the Synester Six and Mortal Kombat on the Gameboy. Those games are beyond crap.

@Kingbuilder - I played Fester's Quest when I was pretty young and remember it being horrible for the same reasons AVGN stated. You're right though, he doesn't know everything, but I have to agree 100% with him on this particular game.
