I like that you're dabbling into the experimental area. I feel like that's what all developers should do, not just indies

Also, if you'd like assistance with doing music as you're creating these games, I am a composer. While I've never done anything for games, I definitely know my way around music and would love to help out anyone else who's starting out. I know creating games isn't your focus at the moment, so it isn't like I'm banking everything on this, but I am totes open for assistance to liven up whatever you (or anyone here) wishes to create

I agree, more people need to dabble in experimental areas, the only way we find need ways to play is through experiments.

Thank you for the offer but my brother is a musician, my wife's friend is a sound engineer, and a friend of my parents has done music for TV shows and movies. I probably won't use you but I bet there are plenty that will. I will keep you in mind, but thanks again for offering.

I'm kinda expecting to read posts about one developer saying they are having problems with code/app/unity and others responding with a solution to the issue.... I find all that stuff fascinating but don't have a coding bone in my body.

I would love for this to turn into that, but as far as I know each of us on here are pretty noob-ish so it probably won't happen.

Even noobs can help each other or at least learn from eachothers mistakes.

Hello, everyone I was working on a game that plays like the 3d legend of Zelda games. I was wondering what does Nintendo look for to become an approved developer?

I am an approved developer but I haven't released anything... doesn't that make me worst than Ninja Pig in a way?

No, because you decided against releasing absolutely terrible games.

I'm working on a few projects. One of them uses the GamePad in a unique way. Hoping to reveal more soon.

(yes, I've got a few projects on the go right now. The 10 player project is a side thing, and Child's Play, the unnamed 2D platformer and this GamePad project are being worked on. I'm creating concepts and switching between the three.)

I will update this when Half Life 3 arrives. [Started 17/11/2015]

I'm a Wii U indie dev.

I released a NA Wii U game called ZaciSa's Last Stand (Tower Defense) nearly a year ago. I am currently working on a new patch for the game (new maps, new mode, new enemies, new weapon, Miiverse posting, Online Leaderboard) that should be released soon. Also working on getting the game out in Europe under new name of "ZaciSa: Defense of the Crayon Dimension!" soon.

Also working on a 2nd game, a physic-based puzzle game with over 100 levels, that I am currently aiming for a late Summer/early Fall release. Will likely have a trailer out for it during or just before E3.

I applied for Indie Dev status about 5 days ago via https://wiiu-developers.nintendo.com/ .
I have actually had my textbox engine used in some pretty prolific games - one coming out soon (for Steam/PC/Mac/Linux/iOS/PSVita) being VA-11 HALL-A. Proof is on the creator's tumblr. (tumblr may contain language)

I don't think it takes much to become certified (see: Ninja Pig), but I'm hoping having my engine used in fairly popular commercial games and being praised as "The best framework for Visual Novels in Game Maker" is good enough for them The wait for the reply, however, is excruciating.

The name isn't final.

Anyway, working on a game heavily inspired by another I used to play and I loved. This new game is a reworking of Pixel Dash, with a new name and new graphics.
