Topic: The Unoffical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fan Thread

I was and always will be a ninja turtle fan! The first movie is MY FAV MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!

I loved the fact that the first movie went more off of the comics than the cartoon series at the time. I think that was the problem with the second movie, by adding Tokka and Rahzar in place of Bebop and Rocksteady just didnt seem right for a live action flick.

I know, Eastman and Lair HATE Bebop and Rocksteady. So instead off adding them they just made up two replacements. I think I am going to go rewatch the movie (again). Btw the TMNT comics (the originals) aren't as the dark as they make them out to be (they make it seem like the Dark Knight). There's a bit of blood but I don't remember them swearing much besides damn and a couple small biddies.

I hate the CGI for the new Turtles show. If looks so weird. Also, I just can't accept Beast Boy's voice as Michelangelo's voice. Doesn't seem to fit imo. D:

Damn it my friend told me that while I was watching it (Beast Boy) now I can't un-hear it. Voice sounds similar to the older Mikey's to me though. (2003 and newer).

@Waveboy: Beast Boy is a character on Teen Titans original a DC comic series but a few years ago Kids WB did a cartoon series on it. The guy who does Mikey's voice in the new TMNT series also did Beast Boy's voice in Teen Titans. And check your spelling dude its Rahzar not Razzar and you call yourself a true Ninja Turtle fanboy

Also just to throw it out there the 2012 Don is voiced by the 80's Raph.

Oh I forgot to add that I am not to pleased about the animation of this new series. While dont get me wrong I love computer animation even though I prefer the hand drawn stuff. I just found this particular animation for the show blah. I mean why couldnt they have done good animation like Toy Story or Shrek heck I thought the animation in TMNT was better than this shows why couldnt they just use that?

Oh and if you didnt know Raphael is voiced by Sean Astin who was Samwise Gamgee in the LOTR trilogy.

I don't know. I can't see details like this. IGN's review says it's good.

As for the animation, it's pretty top-notch. The action sequences are fluid, fast-paced and exciting, and the dialogue-heavy scenes are usually peppered with entertaining slapstick. The show also adds a few interesting flairs here and there — for example, when the turtles are in fighting mode, their irises disappear, leaving only the whites of their eyes behind their masks; other times, the turtles' facial expressions are accentuated by chibi-style overlays that heighten the characters' emotions.

I cant ever seem to get too technical, I can't tell 1080p to 720 or 30, and 60 FPS.

Edit: Hah that's awesome. I was over at the Nick website reading/watching the online web comics. When it was over it had the TMNT NES Game Over music.

I know! The movie was fantastic. I saw it in theaters and it just blew my mind! I prey the new movie is done to the tone of the first one.

I grew up with the old cartoon and was a huge fan (though I don't think I have seen every episode). And I loved the first movie. Then the live-action series came, wich I never saw. Though I have a feeling I haven't missed much. Then the 2003 series came, wich was awesome. I have seen every episode! There was even a awesome tv movie at the end of it! Then I saw the CG movie wich wasn't that bad either! I saw live-action movie 2 and 3, wich weren't very good. I also saw the Power rangers cameo episode, wich wasn't that great either!

Wich brings me to today, the CG series! So far I like it! Of course it's not as good as the 2003 series, but absolutely better then what I expected! I hate the new Mikey voice though!

By the way: I have yet to watch the 2 special Japan-only episodes someday! There the turtles turn into very strange superheroes! Weird stuff!

Lets hope they don't screw up the new movie! At least from what I have heard Michael Bay isn't at the helm anymore, so there's hope!

Henmii is like... my other account. Though I like Mikey's voice. But to be fair I have watch the episodes more then once so I got used to it.

I still haven't seen any of the "newer" cartoons. I'm afraid to. As for Megan Fox playing April in the movie, considering me pretty much uninterested.

OMG now this is how the new series should have looked. And who needs a Wii U when they have an Xbox .

I just had the biggest Lol moment when I read that article and they said "excellent animated show" which was referring to the current one.
