i used to think "sonic is sooo cool!!!" back when i was 5 or 6. but then i actually turned old enough to realize how terrible they were and i dropped sonic forever

As I said, I didn't even know there were Sonic games after Sonic & Knuckles. It died right there for me.

The handheld titles were good right? (Sonic on PSP and that rpg doesnt count.)

Im have really high hopes for the new Sonic Kart Racing game. The only sonic games that had me excited in a LONG time is the Ultimate Collection for obvious reasons.

I also hope the sonic racing game is good. So far, it looks pretty good.

Here's what I heard. Don't know if it's true, but the creator of Sonic is trying to make Sonic games die. That's why the games have been getting progressively more terrible and with new things in them nobody wants. (i.e. Swords, Werehogs, Weird Arabian adventures)

Why would they want to do that. Have they been TRYING to dig themselves into a hole all these years?

The last good sonic game for me was Sonic Rush for the DS.

You're pretty much right. What drove him to it is because Sega's getting less popular. As for the creator and designer of Sonic games, he should sell his rights to Nintendo. Oh wait, that would suck , right?

Sonic Rush was good though.

MAYBE not. Nintendo is the best. They could revive Sonic if they had the chance.

As FATEM said, Sonic Rush wasn't bad. It was classic 2-D Sonic.

But I hate Blaze. Stupid new characters...
